I see that its a nice build at 16 but before i take the plunge, I need to do if It's fun and viable from the start. Is it hard to lvl one up? I have no money or guild and am not interested in power lvling or anything like that.
I'm mostly interested in soloing this toon as I play off hours, but will group on weekends sometimes.

At the earlier levels you might find it harder to solo on a 2rog/14wiz. With a low # of spell points and limited damage power, it gets challenging. Once you get haste and firewall (and more spell points) it's easier to quest on your own though, but that isn't until about level 8. If you're specifically looking for a solo build I think you'd be better off rolling up a melee type with rogue splash for traps. (Exploiter build is good, if you don't mind being like everyone else)

Is your rog2/wiz14 WF? How good is your Str, can you melee?
All caster oriented builds have a hard time at low levels. No spells, no mana, no nothing. Until you get to 8-10 it sucks. After it's easy mode (or atleast easier).
Build is very fun and not underpowered at high levels, but maybe wait for Mod9, DDO:U. For that dungeon scaling. I think it should be a bit easier.

I did it with 2 Monk levels, my advice:
- Assuming your Dex is a bit better than your Strength (I had 14 Dex and 8 Strength) take Weapon Finesse at Level 3. Just temporarily, you'll ditch it later. If your Strength is okay then just whack things with a quarterstaff.
- Bring a WF Hireling to help out. Just memorize buff and Repair spells for the two of you.
- If you have any low-level guard items, wear them. Sometimes even hard-to-hit enemies would just whittle down their own hit points taking the little 1d4 damage from my guard item or two that I had.
- Charm Person helps alot too.
- You can use Flaming Sphere scrolls ALOT faster than you can cast it. If you do it right, you can even drop them on creatures that don't see you and will just stand there and burn. Or sometimes I'd drop spheres outside a door, then close the door.
It'll be really hard without some existing resources to pull from.

I think the hardest part of leveling was 1-3... weapon finesse made a huge difference.
I had lots of fun leveling mine, and it's easily the best solo build I've played that can also contribute meaningfully in a full party.
