Since we have so much to do atm... i'm prolly gonna reroll a healer. A healer that would have tons of HP, mana and above average survivability!
Questions are:
#1 Pure cleric or pure FvS?
#2 Human, Dwarf or WF?
#3 Evasion or not? If so monk or rogue?
I have'nt read that much about FvS but from what i understand mana is charisma dependent but is wisdom for dc only?

Sound simple but what about wisdom?... what wisdom means for a FvS?

wisdom is only for dc
you want a healer, you dont need dc
thus you dont need wis

For HP dwarf cleric is the way to go. Currently at lvl 16 my cleric has 437hp and 1655sp
Starting stats (might be a bit off cause I'm at work):
13 str (ate +1 tome)
12 dex
16 con
9 int (ate +1 tome)
18 wis
6 cha
Current stats
22 str
20 dex
26 con
12 int
36 wis
8 cha
Taking the toughness feat and dwarf con will allow you to get racial toughness 3. Add a Minos Legens, +6 con item and a Shroud hp item (EEE) and you'll be swimming in hp.
Now if only I could get a +3 con tome...

Interesting Concept, But Not a very sound concept.
A Dwarf with a Toughness feat an already easily top out over 400 Hit points as a Cleric and still have a strong DC..... Theres really no reason to dump a bunch of point in CON. Spend 10 build points for 40 Hit points? Not very efficient.
Since a FvS get a ton more spell points than a cleric an 18FvS 2 Monk is a solid survivable build. you can still easily top out over 2000 Spell points as an 18/2 more if you take the Mental toughness feats...
Basically, what I'm saying its easy to be Surviveable, AND have a top notch Spell DC.

So if someone asked about the best way to driver their car into a brick wall at 100mph and survive would you give him tips onthat or tell him its probobly not a good idea?
The thing is, many people dont realize what they are asking about. They want advice and they have a concept, but dont realize the build could do so much more. Its better to provide the alternative info rather than sending them down a route they may not enjoy in the future.
Any self healing class is very surviveable no matter what the hit points are if you play smart.

What's more survivable when something is killing you:...
A) 40 hit points
B) Instant kill spell that lands
This will be on the final.

the op wanted above average survibility
thus A is a solution
ofc B is viable too
and dont forget C: nuke it to death with searing light

Human, Monk2/Cleric18 or Human, Monk2/FvS18
Both high Wis, no Cha if Cleric, min Cha if FvS, the rest balanced Dex, Con, Str.
Why not Dorf? Yes, dwarf get extra HPs, but Humans don't really count as squishy and get Human Improved recovery. Both Cleric and FvS are very starved of features. None have any need for Int, but 2 skill points/level is still nice.
Edit: Cha is a noob trap, don't create gimpadin.

#1 FvS (If you are not into heavy melee or DV).
#2 Dwarf if you are intrested in general saves against spells. (WF have some nice imunities so ...)
#3 Evasion for survivablity. (with 18 lvls FS you get access to mass heal)
Monk for 2 more feats (that can give hp etc). (Rogue can give higher damage. And the other main reason to splash Rogue instaed of Monk for evasion is UMD. But to get UMD as a class-skill is not so intresting on a Cleric). Monk also gives higher AC if you focus on wisdom. If you focus purely on charisma you lose that.
I have done a FS/Monk 18/2 healer surviablity build at : defensive healer (http://forums.ddo.com/showpost.php?p=2281268&postcount=2) but it's a hafling.
Dwarfs give higher hit points. And you will get better saves in general with a dwarf. The main defensive advantage on halfling are higher AC.
