Ok,
I've been a paying member for a while but for some reason they won't let me in the beta.
So I have to ask. Are you able to change skin color like hair color?
I want an elf with the Drow abilities but not the Drow skin color.

Sorry dude, unless it's in the Sneak Peak Release Notes, those of us in the Beta aren't allowed to discuss this kind of thing.

It's not like i'm asking something groundbreaking like, "I see you got Mass Heal, how about Mass Harm?"
Just skin color, Turbine, yes or no?
Repair Light Damage, Mass
Sor/Wiz 8
Description: Transmutes the structure of living construct allies to repair 4d8 +1 per caster level damage.
is obviously wrong in the sneak peek Release notes. Might wanna fix that.

It still breaks the NDA regardless.

It broke NDA by simply saying "those of us in beta"....
Luckily, so far, they haven't been real Hitlerish about the little slips like that.
http://home.att.net/~cdbd3rd/cheers.gif ....... Here's hoping that those folks in beta don't have to worry about that NDA for too much longer. ;)

I expect to see this someday.
Character cosmetics will be a cash cow, so I expect it.

Well, in that case, drow should only be allowed one color - pitch black. But, instead, we have purple, blue, I think even a little green. So, what we have right now isn't drow either.

Not every drow is the same color...so you're wrong on that front. Most drow, stereotypically, are closer to a purplish hue, than black...That's like saying we should only have one color for each race...give me a break.

Players kept saying that, but it wasn't true. If you read your NDA you would have discovered that you did not need to hide the fact you were in beta, only information of a series of types listed in the NDA.

In G3 to Q1, Drow are all pitch black. They gained hues when others started messing with them later on.
So no, You are wrong.
