Why are GS Scimitars so Ugly???

I don't understand why Greensteel Scimitars have to be so ugly. There are so many great designs and models for scimitars, both randomly generated items, and enemy weapon models that look so awesome, but the devs chose the absolutely ugliest model for the scimitar:



Rapiers look sweet!:

Yeah... I saw that rapier picture at the top and thought - YOU'RE RIGHT - THAT IS UGLY-BORING.

The Scimitar blade is nice... kind of meh on the hilt.

I actually like the scimmy look, its the khopesh and even worse the greatsword that look funky to me

Scimitar is fine. The fugly ones are the Khopesh and Kukri, maces aren't great either IMO.

Agreed! I dont like the GS Scimi either..the one that you have here is my favorite look.
