Cheers to the XC elite group that I was in today. Though we were outmatched we stuck it out and finished despite the party leader leaving the group at the end fight. And a special thanks to you Mr. Party leader for giving me a slot on my do not group list as you and your supposed "Up And Coming" guild (which you are supposed to be the leader of) are the first I have added.

Congrats on the completion way to stick it out and sorry for the bad luck. Best advice I can give is to just shrug it off and drive on. Bad pugs happen and if I were you Id refrain from adding the entire guild to your DNG list and keep it to the individual. Even though he is the leader of said guild, that does not mean hes a direct reflection of the guild as a whole. Happy Hunting :D

I have to concur on black listing the whole guild based on one bad example within it. I only blacklist folks on a singular basis, since I'd prefer people judge me by my own actions - and not the misdeeds of others.
You could miss out on grouping with some **** fine folks otherwise.

Always two parts to every story I swear.
I must confess that yeah I left due to running out of time and then saying, "that I had to go."
If you missed this statement then i'm sorry.
I find it rude that you think I just ditched entirely.
I'm happy you guys finished, great job wish I could have been there, but I simply couldn't.
I hope you can overcome this one time.

PS: I'm not known for dropping group unless I have an absolute reason to.

Sometimes people only have a certain amount of time for gaming due to RL.

Seems like a pretty good explanation to me. RL happens. Kudos to you for telling your side of the story calmly and without wank.

Really how? Not exactly my business and all that but I am bored and feel like ranting. Obviously in this situation there was serious miscomunications about why you left the group. You are known by many folks around the server but surely you can see that the OP did not know you, so your feeling of righteousness about the situation is misguided. If you had taken the time to explain why you had to leave group, I am sure that the OP and other folks in the party wouldve been cool with that. In the end it was your group. You decided to take an underpowered group through content that was over their heads and struggled to the point of frustration. What you shoudve done, if you werent going to able to finish with them, is to make sure they understand that you arent leaving the group because of an inability to accept failure. I think that its just a big misunderstanding and you and the OP should have a talk and bury the hatchet. See you in game :D

Thanks soloman for understanding.
Yes I should have explained my reason much more clearly. This is a lesson learned in the social aspect of ddo. All the details of the quest do not need to be aired here as I think that is rather moot.
I find it rude because it could have been kept to pms instead of dirty laundry being spread out to the world over some miscommunication.

I appologize for bringing this drama to the forums and as you can see from the ammount of posts started from me, that it is not something that I am prone to. I was ****ed off and had nowhere else to vent. I was mostly steamed for the other members of the group that though they played hard, there leader walked out on them and they was confused as to why. We all would've understood had you explained your situation better, as most of the players on this game are adults (well for now at least). Had things been going smoothly and you had to leave, the explaination of "ive gotta go" would have sufficed but unfortunately things were not going well, so you must understand how that looked. I respect the fact that you manned up and posted on this thread, you didnt have to and I didnt expect you to, so I must give you big props for that. I am old, 63 years to be exact and usually dont get caught up in the drama of this game so I appologize for my role in the matter and hopefully this is the end of it.

Just some more proof that I won't just give up on the party.
Yeah I died but hedshot and I pulled us through. A little coaching on how to place some fire walls and then we were all good.
When you have time you can stick through it!
We had two people drop but i'm not going to even make a stink about it.
