Hello all, just like the title says, im new to game but not to MMO'S. Im looking for a active guild that doesnt have to many requirements, i travel alot for work so i play on my laptop from hotels, but when im at home i have little ones listening over my shoulder, so im looking for an adult guild that doesnt use to many bad words haha. And one that doesnt mind helping out a newbie, by giving advice and help in quests. If i sound like i would fit in in your guild please let me know :) thanks again

We are a brand new guild on Sarlona. We are dedicated to having a guild where you won't be inundated with sailor talk, drinking, and drugs. This guild is a safe place to come and have fun, bring your kids, let them have fun too.
This is a family friendly environment. Bring your spouse. We will be having date nights as well.

Do you play with Headset?
I'd say 99% percent of profanity is spoken, not typed due to the fact that typed things can be reported.
There are alot of great guilds on Sarlona, but most are adult oriented.. . But I play with manypeople who have kids and they get around it by using headset with mic.

most of the time if ya let people know a kid is watching they are pretty polite about the language. My son watches me play from time to time, but I wear a headset. Welcome to the game.

Ditto. I have had instances where even a guildie refused to tone it down though. I use a headset and only run with the harpers when my kids are in bed :D

the halfling commandos might be a guild you are looking for not to much bad language a couple of kids and familys we only request you be a halfling the worst thing about the guild is I am known to brak out in song every once in awhile.
Also we have a sister guild torchwood that you can put your non halflings in but why would you want a non halfling is beyond me.

welcome to the game!!
i just want to echo the fact that a headset is good to have you never know when joining a pug what might be going on at the time someone could be swearing as you join it's just safer and then you don't have to worry about the kids atall.

Rest in Pieces too may fit your bill.
The guild doesn't have many requirements for joining (as long as you can bear running into rpers). We don't have any specific rules against profanity and the like, except the bit about "Play Nice - treat your fellow players with respect", and generally our guild-members are very considerate and laid back. There are also a few in similar situations like the OP.
We are planning a lowbee/newbee event for some point this weekend (details to come on our guild thread: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=184182) since there have been several inquires of people wanting to join and we thought it may be a nice idea to host some event for them to get to know us.

find a guild that has numerous players on when you play. There are lots of great guilds out there, but some are east cost, some west coast, and the people you want to run with might not be on when you play. Good luck and welcome.

Ethereal is a great laid back environment. we don't have any real requirements except that you actively progress along w/ the rest of us.
