10 fighter/6 ranger question

Im making a 10 fighter/ 6 ranger TWF build
and im wondering what the best weapon choices are...
Rapier/Kopesh
or Scimitars, which i like/prefer more than the rapier.

I am an elf if that helps =)

I would definitely go Khopesh - it is the highest DPS and looks awesome: because you are a fighter, you will have more then enough feats for anything you want.

Rapiers are more typically used for Finesse builds, like rogues and rangers who have really high dex.

They aren't bad: it really comes down to if you want Improved Crit: Peirce or Improved Crit: Slash

For that build, I would suggest Improved Crit: Slash
Slash weapons, such as scimitars, khopesh, longswords, kukris.... etc, are easier to come by and therefor cheaper and more plentiful.

Peirce builds, generally stick to rapiers, which drives the prices much higher for good rapiers.

Not counting racial enhancements, rapiers and scimitars are identical, one is piercing and one is slashing.

I believe Khopesh has a slight edge over rapiers with racial enhancments.

GS khopesh wins out over GS rapier even if you are an elf with both damage enhancements, though the difference is rather small. However, as you encounter more and more mobs with some degree of fortification I believe the rapier can pull even with, if not ahead of, the khopesh assuming you take both damage enhancements for rapiers. If you've got the feat to spare, which you probably do with so many fighter levels, perhaps dive into khopesh. If you need all your feats for other things, go rapier.
