Transfer Character to different server

Caould anyone tell me if its possible to transfer a character to a different server then transfer them back in a couple months? I want to make another character but cant at the moment and was going to move one and then move him back after Mod 9 when we can buy more slots?

If you transfer your character there is a 45 day wait before you are eligible for transfer back to the original server.

I have filled out the transfer form but have no idea if it was sent as I have received no e-mails. Also it bought me back to the main page after I hit the submit button and didnt let me know if it worked or not. Please let me know if I should have recieved something about it.
