Eberron Unlimited is killing the European Servers

Why on earth would any new player interested in DDO join the european servers when they will be able get it for free on the US servers?

This will strangle any possible new blood for the EU servers which already are far less populated than the american ones.

And this is on top of the second class service european players get anyhow, such as:

1. Having to wait weeks and even months before new mods are implemented (yes, on top of Turbine delays!)
2. Not being able to use the preview servers.
3. Not being able to post on the US forums.

Please Turbine, please renegotiate with Codemasters and take over the european servers before the populations collapse entirely.

To help them out over there with more players and to avoid all this here with Unlimited on the US servers.

Yeah, we have been royally messed up over the pond, now i have a US account anyway but would really love a service to transfer my toons from the Euro servers to these ones.

Yes playing on the european servers is quite frustrating atm.
We have eagerly waited for SS to be revealed too and it turned out to be just more delays for us over there
since f2p is not for us so far and we can't even get into the beta.

I agree this is probably going to kill the European version. Look, they even took their name (DDO:EU).
At this point the best course of action would seem to offer them to transfer accounts to US. Because, anyway, I don't see how DDO-Europe is going to be able to survive once DDO-US becomes free.
But I guess it would be a real legal/business nightmare....

I know it sucks to have to start all over again, but I say jump ship now guys. Get on the US servers as soon as you can. You have been neglected for too long, if you still have any interest in the game I wouldn't invest anymore time into the European servers. As much as character transfers form those servers would be nice, im extremely doubtful that will happen in the future.

No this is not a bribe to get more players to the us servers, just my honest feelings based on what I have heard about the state of the European servers ;)

I would be very happy if i could transfer my existing toons. :)

That would save me the hassle of having to unlock 32pt chars again and grind for all those bloodstones,daggertooth belts, etc. i have amassed so far.
