View Full Version : MyAccount email Address + Beta Key

My Beta key wasn't sent to the email address I have setup on myaccount.turbine.com. It was sent to the email I used to signup originally.

Can it be changed so that any future emails are sent to the one I have setup in MyAccount?

Also, out of curiosity, what happens if someone changed their email because they lost access to the email address they signed up with? Do they lose their beta key?

If your Email has been updated and you didn't receive a beta invite please get in touch with the Account Management Team. We will be able to assist with these types of issues. Contact information can be found within my signature. :)

You might want to check the support site, SDM. I followed the link in your sig, picked DDO, and I arrived at a page with a big button that said "Click Here for Online Support." Clicking that button took me to the same page with the same big button. I checked with Firefox and IE, with the same result.

Also, I got the Eberron Unlimited announcement email at my original email address, but I'd changed both my account and forum email addresses to my current one several months ago.(I logged into the account website to confirm the current settings are correct)

Thank you for pointing that out. It looks like we ran into an issue with the support site after some of today's changes.

Please click HERE (http://www.ddo.com/ddosupport/account-support) to access the Account Management area of the website for the time being. We will make some updates to resolve the issues with that Online Support button.

Unless I followed incorrectly, that "new" link took me to my account page which took me back to the not working support page ?!?!


EDIT...I found a submit account ticket button, hopefully thats it.

You can change your Email address that we have on file at any time. Simply log into the Account Management (https://myaccount.turbine.com/) page, and then click the "Account Profile" button on the blue bar at the top of the page. You can then edit your email address. ;)

I did, ages ago. That's why I started this thread. Despite having changed my email address months ago my beta key went to the old email address I registered with.

The email titled "DDO Beta VIP Invitation" and a reminder with the same content were the only ones sent to the original (wrong) email address, every other correspondence is going to the email I setup in myaccount.

The reminder was actually sent to the wrong email address after the confirmation for activating my key was sent to the right one.

Fortunately I still had access to my old email account but others might not be so fortunate.

We have located the cause of this problem to prevent it from occurring for future Emails. :)

I need some help. My hard drive died after I had downloaded the email with the Beta key in it (isn't that the way it ALWAYS goes,:(.) After getting a new drive and reloading everything I need to know if the email can be resent to me…. IF that is even possible.:confused:
Does any of the DEVs have any idea who can help me?

If you contact the Account Management department they can assist.
