Yes, I suppose those words may seem a bit silly I know… I wrote them in my bio five days after the guild Fallen Kingdom dissolved and I was thrust upon the shoulders of five very special guys to carry on a concept. An idea where an MMO is about people, fun and our friendship is what's truly important. This above all is the meaning of Fallen Heroes for me. Yes we collide, even fight on occasion, ah drama and our ideas and feelings clash – Lord knows the tells I get quite interesting – but all in all we see through and move on as our care and respect for each other is what we really cherish. My time among the heroes has been an enlightening and fascinating experience and no… do not let my crown fool you for I am but a maid… Fallen Heroes as a guild is an equal partnership. We all matter and that is where the strength and bonds within this guild lay. As a guild we have our share of veterans and new players, zerging power-gamers, high elite raiders, build tweakers and casual crawlers and yes these lines cross and these players intermix – and yes it still works… Why? Well quite simply put - these people care about people. Yes, some have moved on and some have faded away… yet in my heart – and I like to believe theirs – Once a hero always a hero.

So then, If you’re looking for a place where you’re not just a face in the crowd, a place where you can share your ideas and wants out of an MMO, You have the time? Come check us out you’re more then welcome here.

Even now Jax strives to serve......well done. Varr is falible especially in his love of big words and inability to spell them. Loki, my lesser, has a like flaw......divinty without flavor of imperfection would be stale. Well done good sir!

I just wanted to pop in and say I'm a recent member of Fallen Heroes and the dungeons I've ran with them have been awesome. They patiently guided a newb cleric through Rainbow in the Dark and were very understanding of the fact that I seemed to have stumbled across EVERY pit in that **** dungeon. So thanks guys!

Right now the only thing it has done is cause the servers to crash. Allegedly they are putting a hotfix out today. When I got on last night they had already shut off the guild stuff, so no feed back on that. Damage output seemed down a little, but I did a shroud and a VoD and everything worked as expected.

Shroud, none, ToD, none to very little. My monk plays like she took a Valium. All slow, Matrix like, only not cool like Matrix I, sucky like Matrix II and III.

some of us have, but not as a guild as far as I know. There be a bit of a TR fad of late.

Some of you may have notice, others may not have, but tis past when I should address this.

When I joined FH oh so long ago I immediately fell in love with this guild. The people here have always been amazing companions in the world of Reidra and now Khyber. The selflessness of so many has always been something I have striven to emulate. So many willing to defer to the needs of others is truly a remarkable thing (and is often mistakenly seen as directionless). The diversity of people, play styles, and experience has always been a highlight. I hope I have imparted half the knowledge I have learned from those who call FH home, have passed through, and have, in a sense, fallen away from us due to life, duty, or just a whim.

I have been asked why I have left the heroes. In truth I have not, at least not completely. I am still here and will always be available to those who hold the banner of FH high. It is true however that I have pulled many of my (more played) characters and moved in with another guild.

In a lot of ways I did not leave FH, FH left me. I look around today and miss what i see as the 2nd, 3rd, even 4th and 5th generation of heroes. the reasons for leaving have been as varied as the people who have come and gone and fortunately have been largely positive departures. They are missed, remembered, and honored by myself and others.

The current generation is a more than capable bunch and indeed are worthy of the banner of Fallen Heroes, but the simple fact is that I am in a different place than most of you. A while back I made a decision of what my goals were going to be in playing and tweaking my builds, where my enjoyment of DDO was and where it was to be. My playing time is constantly in flux due to a rather erratic work and volunteer schedule and I was beginning to feel scattered, pulled in too many directions, and unfocused. I focused in on what I wanted to work on in game on a personal level (there is far to little time to invest as much as I would like in as many as I would like to).

I was fortunate to fall in with a group of players whose goals were very much like mine and with whom I found that 'X factor' that I found with FH. The decision to more permanently join their ranks was difficult and thought over for many weeks.

This be the fault of none that this is the path I have chosen, there is no drama or animosity behind it, it just is one of those things that the paths of life determine. As I have said, I am not gone, my presence will still be here, just less so. I have some new builds planned for the near future, but still have quite a bit of polishing on the older ones, so I'll be around at times, and others not so much. And while my allegiances are a little more spread out, they have not diminished towards the heroes.
