I'm an interested guy on the reasoning. Is this a feminist movement? An emancipation from testosterone? Are you about to go down a dark deep path in which men will be left bereft and incapable of following?

I'd do anything for love, but I won't lose that -- I just can't see myself getting the operation to hang with some awesome gamer girls that don't want my joystick skills.

It's a chick thing I guess. My wife used to do it quite often on Thelanis, since she doesn't read the forums I'll pass this along to her since this is our home server though.

Hmm among other reasons....we have lot's of fun doing them on Thelanis, but we only do them once a month there. Thought it was about time to have them on Sarlona, as I've met alot of fellow grrrl gamers since playing here on Sarlona more and more.

Just a helpful suggestion, pick a raid/quest and a specific time to start and that way us gals can pass the word to ensure a good showing.

Heh heh heh!!! I'm not sexist. I just wanted to get a rise out of the intellects and activists. ;) Sadly, only you really replied -- which makes me that much more of a failure: I was trying to incite women posters and all I got was a guy. :confused:

By all means ladies, pick a raid and do your thing. We'd love to have pictures once you start this epic journey and they don't have to be PC pics -- do what you feel!

Fwiw, I think all-female runs can only help the game. DDO has a good population of women, but they remain the minority. Anything that makes (some) women more interested in the game is a great idea in my opinion.

Also keep in mind that all-male runs happen by accident quite frequently. So any need for that (and I'd argue there is one) is really already filled. All-female runs still need to be organized. And I'm happy that someone is organizing them.

Someday I hope my daughters can join you. Only 17 levels to go...

We should offer up a variety of exclusive raids in response to this sexist offering of "females" only. Let's start with a special "crossdressing" raid for those who play a gender different from real life. Then we can happily go down the path of (my favorite) a "fat" raid comprised of only players whose waist size is at least double their ages (photos required)...what's that...you say it's discrimination against the traditional "pencil-necked-geek"? Why then let the little wasp waisted agoraphobes have their very own slimmed down evening! A "Baldies-over-thirty" raid should be well attended while the ever-popular "annoyingly-uber-been-here-since-beta-wf-barbarians" only raid might actually cause additional lag in our empty virtual streets! Mayhaps you can think of more?
