Longest running static groups?

I originally started playing DDO the weekend immediately following the game's release. One of my friends from high school (20+ long years ago!) suggested that our old PnP team try out DDO as a way to keep gaming while living several hundred miles apart.

With very few exceptions (holidays, mainly) we have played every Wednesday night since that first weekend. Some of us (like me) became addicted and have played multiple characters more often. Half our group still plays just one night a week - our Wednesday static group.

So I was just thinking, are there any other static groups that have been playing together since release (or Beta, even??) I am just curious if our story is unique or if there are tons of others like myself playing DDO in regularly, weekly groups.

We miss a week or two here and there, and started over a while back to add in a new player (some of us wanted to make drow anyway), but other than that, yeah. Been playing since before Mod1 with the same weekly group :)

Cool. We've shuffled characters a time or two as well. We've also swapped out our sixth player a few times. We used to joke that that position was like the drummer in Spinal Tap, but our latest has been with us for over a year now. He might stick...lol

A group of us from one server moved to Sarlona to start a static no twink group (28pt builds also). We've been playing every Thursday (except the rare occasion someone has something come up) for 2 hours since last January...17 months. Still haven't gone into the Vale lol but done the Reaver a few times (btw, Sarlona's tactics for this are uncomfortable for us from Khyber lol)
