Leveling a character for the casual player... Part 1 of 3 (maybe 4) Will update as I do a little more planning on the leveling process.....
Purpose of this is to run through the leveling of a Tempest/Kensai Dwarf (12 Ftr/6 Ranger/2 Barbarian Henceforth referred to as "GraveDigger") for a weekend warrior. For those of us who take roughly 2-3 months to get a character from lvl 1 to lvl 12, and another 2-3 months to get him capped, some of the builds from the uber-builders look freakin awesome at level 16 with all their kick-azz equipment, full set of +2 tomes, and armory full of Greensteel weapons, but not all of us have the kind of time to get that stuff, or plow through levels on a daily basis, and need to plan character generation a little more carefully to make sure we don't completely suck-azz at the mid-level content that we'll be living in for a while.
Fellow noobs, Meet GraveDigger.....
GraveDiggerv2 (Thanks Noctus for the spot on the last post)
Level 9 Neutral Good Dwarf Male (On the way to 16, and then on to 20)
(2 Fighter / 1 Barbarian / 6 Ranger)
Hit Points: 178
Spell Points: 45
BAB: 9/9/14
Fortitude: 13
Reflex: 9 (High enough to bother with evasion??)
Will: 2+2 (I'd love to improve this a little)
I repeat: This character will not have access to a stockpile of +2 tomes, Greensteel armament, or every desired Raid end-loot item possibly found in the game. I play the game when I have time because it's fun, challenging, and so far, unique.
If anyone sees a better way to accomplish the endstate, yet still maintain a playable character throughout the leveling process, by all means post a reply...

??? Here's how I calculate DPS... (Power gamers, close your eyes for this part, you'll probably cry)
Red #=Good
Red # + Red #=Gooder
Red # + Red # + Red #=Goodest
Miss=Bad
Formula:
(Red#'s) > (Miss)=Good
(Miss) > (Red#'s)=Not good
If anybody has a better formula for this, I'm all dwarf ears...
