I am helping my friend to post this thread. Last week he suddenly became unable to login. He then checked his billing details and found that his subscription was expired and the expired date was Dec 2008. When he tried to input again his credit card details, the site refused to update his info and told him to find the support.

He clicked the support link to find help, and again, the support link was broken!

Does DDO wants to kick him out forever even if he wants to play? Please help him and help DDO too!

His name is childanger.

For support, try http://www.ddo.com/support/

I have clicked to the support link, but it SUCKS! Could you please just simply allow Childanger to enter Credit card data and reactive the subscription? Wouldn't it be easier?

Why a loyal subscriber for 2.6 years being ignored and his latest subsription data was not updated (still frozen at Dec 08)? Even he is paying 6 months while he hasn't cut/change his credit card?

Can someone explain this?

Could you express your problem? I could try contacting them myself, if you let me know what the problem is. :)

My friend childanger's latest subscription was ended at 22-May 09. He is paying by credit card and supposingly the subscription will be automatically updated.

As the subscription failed to update automatically, he went to the billing website and update himself. However, He filled in the credit card details and click "submit", the site didn't allow his re-subscription. (for sure that his credit card is valid)

Please if possible allow him to re-enter his credit card information on the website, or tell me/him what to do next here. Thanks a lot!

Normally, if the credit card number was entered, there should be an error message displayed at the top (in a red box if memory serves).

Could you tell me what it is? Copy and paste here, if possible.

sure! It reads, "One or more of your subscriptions has been suspended due to non-payment. Please re-enter your billing information or apply a Game Card now to reactivate your subscription(s). Once you have updated your billing information successfully, all of your suspended subscription(s) will be reactivated for use. Click here to update your billing information now".

Then when he subscribes his credit card info and press "submit", a message comes out:

"The transaction cannot be processed at this time. If you believe this is an error, please click here (the support site) to contact Turbine Customer Service [err:140003]"

Thx!

I am pretty sure that he got the same error as I once had. If it is, he will see the request being processed soon.

If it does not happen, I suggest him to call Account Management Representatives from 4:00 p.m. - 8:45 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Monday by dialing 781-407-4020. From my experience, they are quitehelpful and will be able to check the system to see what's wrong.

Thanks, Borror0. I had been back to Stormreach for one month already. The Customer Service, Katie, is really nice and helpful.

this thread is pathetic and is the reason DDO is dying and will continue to do so...

More content cannot save this game.
Microtransactions cannot save this game.
The only thing that can save this game is if turbine hires useful people to run it rather than pawning it off onto volunteer community members.

I feel sorry for you Borror0

edit- just reread the thread...it happened at 3AM...I suppose it is acceptable that Turbine wasn't around at this time to handle the matter...however, they should have certainly posted when they sauntered into the office at 4PM...
