View Full Version : Help me save my first ALT please!

My first Alt is a WF pally Hybrid. I started the game with him way back when, just missed being a founder by a month or so. I didn't know diddly about stats or enhancements just kinda played it by ear as I went along. Stopped playing him about mod 7 as I realized he was kinda gimped for high end content.

So I have some plat, a few shards, and am willing to invest in some changes and buy tomes if needed. Will also shop for or grind away for stat items as needed. What do I need to change to make him viable (not uber just playable with current hign end content and in Mod 9 and beyond)

So what feats do I exhange? What tomes do I buy? what ehancement changes? and what gear should i get?

Pretty hard to read...I am guessing it was a 28 point build and is currently level 16 not 15.

Any how the way I see it is you have a few choices

Choice #1
Take 3 more levels of Fighter and 1 more level of Paladin:
-This will give you 2 extra figther feats and 11 Paladin Caster (nice for resistance buffs)

Choice #2
Take 4 more levels of Paladin :
-This will give you 14 Paladin Caster (For full current game Paladin casting)

Choice #3
Take 4 more levels of wizard:
-This will give you access to level 4 wizard spells (DDoor, Solid Fog, Firewall)


Im not sure what your original purpose was or how you currently play him.

So I really want to bring this guy off the shelf soon any advice?

You mixed up the feats with class abilities, so they are hard to read.


Once the cap goes up, take 4 paladin levels for Zeal.



Feats you really should have:
- THF, ITHF, GTHF
- IC:Slashing
- Power Attack
- Thoughness
- Extend (from the Wizard)


You can reach a working AC by having
- Adamantine Body
- Dodge
- Combat Expertise
- casting an extended Shield on yourself
- a bunch of AC boosting gear.

Feats you should drop, as they are useless:
- Exotic Weapons(Dwarfen Axe)
- EWP (Kama)
- PÜower Crit

What noctus said but i would also get rid of Rep heavy xbow.
