and check this out. Test Drive: Unlimited, another Atari product (since that's what Eberron Unlimited is registered under): http://pc.ign.com/articles/867/867357p1.html
April 17, 2008 - Atari today announced that the Test Drive Unlimited PC Megapack is available for download, including the patch, activation key and 46 immaculate dream machines, all for ?9.99 from the Metaboli digital download service which can be accessed via the official website of racing reinvented at www.testdriveunlimited.com
This might be a stretch but you think the Turbine Download Manager is going to be used to push micro-content patches that we purchase? It seems like that was the direction they were going with this other product, Metaboli (which seems failed now, I just checked, they got like 600 people online) a Steam-like platform that would push content for a price.
I'm wondering if their contract fell through with Metaboli or they cancelled it and then started working on the TDM to push their own stuff.
Just some conspiracy theories, next up, where is Nat Gann located, etc.
