So my main character is fast approaching 1750 favor (its been almost 2 years) and I was thinking, if you have/had your first 32 point build with +2 tomes for every stat, what class would you build?
I like self seficient characters, that is the healer of the group doesn't have to constantly worring about me dying or being a mana sponge and I am not just a 1 trick pony. Cookie cutter builds are fine, but having fun is the most important.
I don't have to be pure dps, but being able to contribute is good so
1. What race would you build (I've beeb every race so it doesn't matter to me)
2 . And what build would you try?
I am interested in what you guys think, and right now I'm thinking wf twf pally monk, but I am totally up for suggestions.

I accidentily stumbled across Cleric and am loving it. Rolled her up as a fallback so I could always find a group when LFMs were light. Now find myself riding her all the time. Good combo of melee, heals and offensive casting.

A Rogue13/Ranger6/Monk1. An absolutely incredible build that is just now starting to get the credit it deserves, and will only become more powerful when the cap increase allows it to complete. Self-sufficient, uber-untouchable AC, godly saves, incredible to-hit, immunity to knockdown, sufficient DPS to hold raid boss agro, insane DPS with sneak attack enabled. Great ranged damage in a pinch (manyshot)... all at the same time.
There are many variations, some go 2 monk, some go more ranger, etc... but this is the one I love the most. It's just plain sick. Only problem is that some groups refuse to believe a rogue can do the things you volunteer to do (take down titan HP, hero Sulu, hold ortho agro and kill two of them before the group finishes the one they're working on :p).
It's a rich man's build, you have to be able to farm/buy the equipment and have the tomes for it... but when you're equipped, you're nearly invincible.

Now i did some reading on the 13/6/1 build, and I have a 8th lvl drow rogue, is it too late to branch out into this build or can I start now taking the 6 lvls of ranger and 1 monk? I like the way Impact has laid it out.

My first 32 point build was a dwarf 2 fighter / xx ranger strength based twf. Had him for about a year and a half now, and still not sick of him. He can be set up for decent AC, great dps, and can hit the wands to keep himself healed. A bit cookie cutter now, but he sure wasn't back when I made him.

Could you PM that build to me as well? I am in the same position as the OP. I'll be approaching 1750 favor very soon.

I'm going to try an AC build, I think, once the new mod hits. But the AC build is somewhere in the mix with my straight human twf pally, WF warchanter, THF WF Barb...I'm torn! :D
