what is the drop rate/rarity of +8 bracers? and if +10 bracers do drop how many people are going to need them BEFORE they start to sell. what is the price for said items going to be. imo +8 bracers value will drop only after they arent needed any more. min level for +10 bracers will be? i still think +8's have value. maybe after people realize that +10's wont be in every chest that gets looted....+8s wont look so bad.

anyway comf's offer was acceptable to me so if anyone would like to match it they got a deal.

If you didn't want to debate, why did you make your comment in the first place and devalue his trade items? It is not like he even stated how much he would trade it for, no asking price. He received an offer, you devalued it, and now the offer was taken off the table. Poor form in my opinion.

If he asked for value opinions or stated he wanted some astronomical price, then your comment would be warranted, but devaluing a trade thread for the sake of devaluing is kind of crappy. IMO

Well unless someone has info. from a Mournlands player, and even then, the question would remain, did they hae the new loot tables ON Mournlands, nobody can be sure if +10 armor bracers will exist in Mod 9. Maybe someone is dumb enough to actually pay a game cheat site to get the info....Nor do we know if skill items higher than +15 will be around. I didn't here of any being pulled on Lhamaland. Although there were some Min lvl 17 and 19 items falling. The next question would be... When is Mod 9 coming out.... It could be months :rolleyes:

i was a little upset about the post. in all actuallity comf withdrew offer before the post. but it could have stopped someone else from offering a similar amount. i actually traded the item for more than comf offer so the value is still there for this item. i apprectiate oogly's defense of my thread and he is correct. the thread was posted for the SOLE intention of accepting offers for my items. and thank you rio for saying sorry, was not expected and most would not. i consider this matter closed and hold no grudges. again thank you for input, defense, and something to read while my kids are driving me crazy lol.

Consider this by the source...I'd read here on the ddo forums that PnP allowed for up to +10 AC Bracers without becoming an epic item.

I remember when the +7's first started dropping in the Gianthold and they had to be rr'd then...and only on a loot weekend to boot. Just assuming the usual DDO item inflation - higher level cap and it's non-epic...and Turbine does seem to be using PnP as a rough outline...it seems reasonable to expect +10's to be available.

Lot of if's. What if the first batch of quests doesn't offer it? What if they change their mind and decide to only offer +9 on raid items first...What if...What if.

I would agree that +8 is reasonably good -- and if it's better than what you had, it's worth something...and, who knows, perhaps the items traded to get it are also on the list to be devalued. We all know that +3 unbound tomes may be available with the next release...of course, some +2 no-ML unbound tomes might retain more value than ML7's or even possibly ML11 +3's.

I guess I could end that with, I don't know - it's all just a possibility. Who knows, perhaps Mod-9 is vaporware anyways.

I agree Rio. I would be shocked if +10 armor bracers (RR) and +19 (RR) skill items were not part of this MOD. These are standard pre-epic items. It also follows the progression DDO has followed so far. Although we should technically have RR +17 skill items now.

IMO, I believe +8 armor and +15 skill items will be a dime a dozen before the summer is over.

Interesting...so what I remember reading is incorrect.

My opinion is that Turbine at least tries to follow the 3.5 ruleset and when they deviate they do so for specific reasons. (or possibly a bug...not intended). Getting to +10 armor bracers was solely premised on it being non-epic content.

Although this is also a ddo forum post...makes me doubt we're going to see better than +8 anywhere other than named raid loot (only as a possibility, not really expected).

However, keep in mind that the +8's will still become more common - that happens anytime the loot tables are shifted upwards (again an assumption, but I think reasonable)....but how much is "more common"?
