How to Advance to round two!
Post a score card with 6 screen shots with a score of 12,000 and Higher. Score card must follow Score Card (http://forums.ddo.com/showpost.php?p=1581179&postcount=3) format or it will be completely ignored. All consumables must be on your hot bars and present in your screen shots. I want to know how much you used for each part.
Round 1 will be on the honor system, All round 1 scores will be deleted if not competing in round 2 (Round 2 wont be on the honor system). Try as many times as you like until the posted Dead-Line. Feel Free to post your failed attempts I will update your score when you improve it.

Rules:
1. Start outside of WW. Any damage you take on the way to part 1, going from part 2-3 is part of surviving WW.(note: no points can be earned in this area either).
2. Death = done Add all your points up.
3. Recalling/finishing out = Done. Add all your points up.
4. Only repair on your way to part 3. Must walk out the front door to do this.
5. Do not bring any consumables over the Posted amount.
6. Consumable Potions found in CHESTS is fair game but not from breakables.
7. Must be LVL 1 during the whole contest
8. No Skyvualt shields
9. No Clickys of any kind. (spells that can be cast off of items)
10. No Wands or Scrolls
11. Tuffmann's Decisions are final.
12. Open to all server. Yes I will come to your server.
13. Lag deaths do count.
14. Will wait 5 min after someone goes link dead.
15. No Clerics, Bards, Wizards, and Sorcs. No Blue BARS.
16. All races Allowed.
17. No house buffs allowed

Potions have no ML. I use CMW* starting level one and switch to CSW around level 4 on my lowbies.

*I still own CSW at that level for "Oh, ****!" moments.

11625 on first run. 28 Point halfling Monk with minimal twinkage, was using my min's handwraps lol. Ran out of pots at the begining of part3, and then it took forever, with one incap even. Hopefully I can do better once I get blackwidow bracers and a few stat boosts. I have the ss, but will wait till sunday when i retry for better score.

Ran hard today and was a success but I used 18 cure mod pots and wasted about 10 min with the distractions of it being a Saturday. Gonna try elite a little later when the Mrs and kid goes out so there's no distractions.

no they do not that round one is just a qualifier for round 2

Got through part 1 on elite ok, 16 min and only 4 cure serious. Luckily I did'nt have to try and fend off Misery. The location of the first key and whether she spawns will determine success in Part 1.

Got me arse handed to me in part 2 on elite, Arlos decided to be on the bottom and in second to last room. Where his location is will determine your success in Part 2.

I'm thinkin the toughest part of Part 3 will be making it initially through the Acid traps, regardless of Class played, no one will have evasion.

Part 4's success I think will be the location of Venn, if he can be found fast, shouldnt be a problem.


I think it's doable using your guidelines, just gonna take a few attempts on elite.

Hmmm...first walkthrough/attempt, came up with 1105, but only because I forgot to show bounty hunter kills in the screen caps. Doesn't show 'em, figure you can't count 'em. But if I'd shown them, I'd have been over the 1200...

Think I can do better though...but I definitely need to remember to show the bounty kills in the screen caps next time...

As a side note; Ive noticed a few people recall and wait 5 mins to reset the instance to a particular part of the series(I assume this is for a chance at more namd mobs for a better score) and I assume have posted those scores on this thread, I dont think this is very sportsman-like but Hard-Elite will need an onlooker to post scores for qualifying so Im not that worried, Im just saying Ive been watching. IMO you should have to reset the quest chain to get a true total score, run it as many time as you like but please people, dont cheat the honor system.

As for waiting for a part 2,3,4 after not getting rares to spawn to reset is not what I inteded for people to be doing, if this what happening. Resetting part 1 after a bad pull, I don't see a problem with it or abandoning the chain also and restarting the whole series would be acceptable too. But it realy isn't that hard to zerg threw the rest of the chain and get that endreward that could possible be holding a upgrade you could use, I got my +5 search googles that way yesterday :) even heard of someone pulling +7 skill item the other day. In the end, round one is for self satisfaction and has no baring on the contest other then getting you into round 2.

But I don't think that the case for scored runs, I been talking to a lot people while they are on and noticed lot people were just testing out stuff on hard and elite too trying to find ways to shave off time in certain parts. There only one chance at hard and elite, no redos and do overs.

Also updated that 1 out every 3 contestant will advance to round 3. with the minimum of 2.

If there are 9 scores for round 2, three will be advancing excluding me ofcourse im not competing as that would be a conflict of intrest, but I will be putting up scores before each round on tuffmann non the less for persnal satisfaction and to try and set a pace for other to shoot for and surpass and will not effect anyone chances to advance or win the contest.

I've done this a few times on my Hard and Elite practice runs, but only to make sure my squishy rogue can take out said mobs.

This does bring up a question though. Will the monitored Hard and Elite runs be just one run per person, or will it be say best out of 3. Seems a little unfair if say 1 person gets all 4 named mobs in part 1, but another person gets 0 named mobs. Or any part for that matter, the bounty hunter points make up a good majority of the score.

lol, being that there are only just a few individuals posting those said scores, yourself included, I personally would like to know who these people you are that you "have noticed". High score in round 1 is trivial and means not really a thing. Over 12k and your on to the next round which is why Nver and myself are focusing on hard/elite. Elite is where the real contest will be for whoever makes it there and being that Tuffman will be piggybacking on hard/elite, cheating should be nihl. I personally would assume nothing of anyone at this point in the contest.

Well, there it is. Nothing great, but it is done... more than others can say I suppose. I was really hoping everyone would stick with it.
Looking back at my Hard attempt 15 months ago (http://forums.ddo.com/showpost.php?p=1629834&postcount=97) - actually looks like it went a little better this time around.

Also got to duke it out with Tuffmann (just missed the screenshot) but this year it was Hardpuncher that was left standing! Thanks for the brawl... i think I'm 1-2 against you now...I shall even the score next year!

Sorry - been outta town, so I had to drop...was fun though, and I'm keeping the guy around for the next lvl 1 challenge...
