Keep the suggestions comming...all of them have been very helpful. I am trying to optimize this toon's gear.
Ok...I posted this build in Impact's thread earlier this year. I got to thinking about my current gear set up, and decided to start a new thread to get some input and suggestions.
I need the experts to look at my set-up and tell me if or how they would change my current gear set-up?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Here's my build design...

You can see that I am only really concerned about DPS and plan on playing this character simular to a rogue (letting others take the main agro and slip in on the side to attack) due to the low AC and mid lvl HPs.
Let me know what y'all think about this build. I would appreciate any feed back (good or bad). :)

I keep the following setup for most of my melee characters.
Min II GS / Min II GS (+4 Insight)
Vorpal / Vorpal
Para / Curse
Banish / Banish
Smite / Smite
Disrupt / Disrupt
Those are standards and then if I go portal beating I take my Anar of GCB. Otherwise I have a lot of Holy of GB's in the bank that I grab for whatever bosses are going to be in the quest we are doing.
MrCow posted this that is helpful if your really looking at minimizing your weapon set.
Personally, the weapon minimalization set would be:
Anarchic Adamantine Bludgeon
Transmuting Flametouched Iron Piercing
Axiomatic Cold Iron Slashing

Since you mentioned not wanting to have agro:
Id swap out spectral for tumbleweed (if you feel like you need the bonus to-hit) and get tharnes on your DT docent for the set bonus once you aquire the goggles. you still get ghost touch, but also recieve 20% less hate. If you do happen to get some tharnes, I would make one of either your scimitar or kukri into a radiance II. Minos is a mediocre item in my mind, youd be better served putting 6 Cha there, or on your DT and saving the ring spots for new crafted rings. swap your GS belt youve planned to gloves maybe, and get the eletric haze(GFL/heavy fort) belt. This leaves you with some ring spots open to take advantage of whatever comes out. I have heard rumors of prestige set stuff where one piece is in necklace, if it happens to be so, id move con to your DT or ring.
Lightningstrike is going to be much less effective in the new mod, with many bosses immue to its effect, I would not suggest making one till we see more.
Id also drop FE AC and AB, since its unlikely youll be missing and if your AC under 40, it is not sufficient to matter. Lord of blades faith line costs 2 then 4, not 1 then 4. I dont believe energy of the wild (ranger) stacks with energy of the templar (paladin), but test it before you drop it. If you take my gear suggestions, take RNG DEX I or eat a +3 dex tome to stay even and boost your reflex.
As for GTWF, keep it its a 20% increase in your DPS with 2 extra attacks per round. what lowered ur dps was hitting bab15, and its stupid extra slow animation. (you lose 5/minute going from 88 @ bab14 to 83 @ bab15 for each hand)
Since this is an already made character, I'm not going to comment on your stats.
All these suggestions are just that. Your gear is honestly very good at the moment so i'd not be worrying too much. just find yourself a nice pair of kopesh(you dont need the proficiency feat or the OTWF with a full BAB) and beat ****.

Thank you for catching that...energy of the wild does not stack with energy of the templar...thank you.
Also, AWSOME SUGGESTIONS! Thank you for taking the time and looking at my build :)

You think my BAB will be high enough to use dual Kopesh? I know the DMG is awsome with them...but it doesn't help if I can't hit anything.

---any 2 pieces of the tharnes set gets you -20% Melee Threat and Ghost Touch. all three pieces get you featherfalling.
You think my BAB will be high enough to use dual Kopesh? I know the DMG is awsome with them...but it doesn't help if I can't hit anything.
---- you will have full BAB20, -8 from PA , +11 from STR, +5 from weapon, +2 from spectral gloves or tumbleweed, +3 from divine favor, -2 from TWF normally, +5 from tharnes (vs anything that can be sneak attacked). Thats 36 with PA on, without GH. If you keep your spectral gloves for Ghost touch and get destruction on your DT, youll have an effective 40 AB, at which point I think youd be very safe to take -6 and use kopesh x2. It depends on how you make your character. Also remember you get a free +2AB vs EO with KotC II. I would keep some scims/kukris for when fighting things immune to sneak attack and crit.
I dont really know what my suggestion would be, I'm just showing you the options.
also of note:
things like exalted smite, which increase range and multiplier, and things like divine sacrifice which increase only multiplier benefit scimitar/kukri/rapier more than other weapons (bringing them dead even with, or ahead of kopesh's crit rating on those attacks).

3. When I took GTWF at lvl 15, all I noticed was another slower animation added to my attack chain. Can someone explain why GTWF is so Great? I am almost thinking about changing it out to PA.
FYI
GTWF gets you two extra attacks per chain, so it's definitely worth it...
The slower animation happened because you hit BAB 15... We've all complained about it. That slower animation will remain even if you swap out GTWF.

Ok...I'll keep GTWF and wait to pick up PA at lvl 18. Thank you for the advice :)

Ok...I posted this build in Impact's thread earlier this year. I got to thinking about my current gear set up, and decided to start a new thread to get some input and suggestions.
My main concerns are this...
1. I have too many weapons in my inventory at the moment...should I craft some GS scimitars and kurkis to help minimize the amount of weapons in my inventory? If so...what weapons should I craft (with the changes in Mod 9 coming)?
2. I was able to come across a Docent of Defiance, and I am thinking about changing my current gear set-up. I need the experts to look at my set-up and tell me how they would change my current gear set-up?

I have a human tempest paladin, but I am going a different direction for end game it seems. Why not go with Paladin 11 / Ranger 9? That will give you evasion on the character, as well as the ability to cast a minor level barkskin for when you need it in a pinch.
Of course, other thoughts I had with end game were Paladin 10 / Ranger 8 / Monk 2 and Paladin 10 / Ranger 8 / Rogue 2. Just curious what the thought process behind 14 / 6 was.

I am trying to get the Tempest attack speed bonus (Ranger lvl 6) and the lvl 4 paladin spell Zeal (Paladin lvl 14) for the faster attack speed.
Those bonuses along with haste should give me some pretty good DPS :D

Keep docent of defiance for sure. Its great for soloing, 2-maning, or when your tanking. The setup you displayed would be perfect for parties. It, combined with a solid play style would keep agro off you in group most of the time.

Now...about the Kopesh/Kopesh vs. Scimitar/Kukri
I reciently aquired a Holy Silver Kopesh and equiped it against Harry and Sully. I didn't notice that much of a difference in the dmg from my Holy Silver Scimitar.
Maybe we could talk Monkey_Archer or Borror0 into crunching the numbers to see the difference between using a Scimitar/Kukri and Kopesh/Kopesh (without exotic weapon proficiency).
Also, when I am facing end bosses...I spam exalted smite II and divine sacrafice I. Would that change the dmg difference between the Kopesh and Scimitar?

Really? The khopesh should crit for way more, overall DPS improvement of about 5-10%

Yes as the crit range and multipliers are different. Don't have time to do any math atm but you get an expanded crit range and multiplier for ESII.

TWO FREAKIN WEEKS?!?!?
What a friggin n00b! What took so long? Everyone knows it only takes a week AT MOST to lvl a toon WITH WAGRO!
Looks like a fun build bro, may I suggest waiting to craft any items so you don't get ****es if a raid item you can use drops for that same slot. Just get everything ready, once mod 9 has been fully explored you can make a decision.
Should only take about 45 minutes once the mod goes live :D

I'll probably wait to craft any GS weapons until Mod 9 comes out, but I am going to craft the GS items that I have listed. I think those GS items really compliment this build well. With Concordant Opposition, occational DR, 10% & 20% healing amp, and some-what good hit point...that should take the place of having a low-range AC.
