In the next module, most of the powerful weapons are getting nerfed...so what will be the next uberest weapon?

It's still early to tell exactly what, but some to watch for:

Holy Silver of Greater Outsider Bane
Holy Silver of Punct/Enfeebling
Transmuting of Pure Good

capstone Pally's will get a lot of mileage out of:
Transmuting of Greater Oustider Bane
Silver of Greater Outsider Bane

For transmuting, Min 2 will be as good as it ever was (assuming you have holy or goodburst on it :))
Will need good blunt weapons for skeletons, etc...
Holy silver banes

To replace wop... hmmm...
Weighted 5% and/or stunning blow looks like a good option.
X-Burst of pucturing/enfeebling rapiers
Wounding/Weakening of X picks

Wounding/Puncturing=Weakening/Enfeebling
Transmuting of (Whatever Kicker)=Transmuting of PG/Silver of PG
Bursting of Puncturing=Bursting of Enfeebling

(Polar alignment opposite) of Greater (whatever) Bane

That's a sweet +5d6. Can't go wrong with that. And +5 base magic is the equivalent of roughly +1.6d6 more, not counting the additional hits. + 5 for turning on power attack (since your +attack is so damned high you'll hit almost all the time either way, right?)

So that'd be what, +5d6 + 2 * (+1.6d6) = +8.2d6 = 8.2 * 3.5 = 28.7 + whatever damage your weapon does + multiplier (2 vs. 1-hander) + burst + crit + Rubbings of Cuthbert Bonus and whatnot.

Ya, back in the day, my dwarf with 18/72 strength and a +3 d8 Battleaxe couldn't touch those damage rates. It's a different game. It's like comparing a 300 baud modem to a dual-channel 128kb ISDN dialup. Yes, they're both "dialup" but one is magnitudes more powerful.

Is there actually going to be a change? Arent holy burst silver of GEOB the best right now against Sully? WOP will STILL be best against most trash but now the WOE brotheren can play too and it will not be a 2 second kill (more like 5). Deathnips in a rogues hands are GREAT NOW! I still venture to guess a WOP rapier will still out kill a wounding pick of X, the amount of time it will take wounding alone to get to auto crit will take too long. Along side a WOP weilder they will be great. But that is true now about WOE and a Weakening pick of X. I forsee the order in power to remain the same, but the gap between WOPs and everything else will be narrowed, eliminated for a WOE.

The break even point on wop rapier vs. wounding pick is when it takes as many hits for a wop rapier to make a mob auto crit as it does to take it from auto crit to dead with a wounding pick. If killing it takes more hits than giving it 0 con, the pick pulls ahead. If less, the rapier pulls ahead. If the sum of both for any given weapon is > 20, a vorpal is the winner(unless the mobs are immune).

edit: The real winner here is obviously wop picks. The break even for them is > 1/2 the number of swings to auto crit with a rapier than the number needed to kill from auto crit with a pick.

On this note... there's both a light and a heavy pick on AH right now. Of course, there's no name associated with it so we can't just buy it outright and save the seller the fees.

I'm *really* considering the Light pick, too.

how good do you think a MoBB will be?

MinII's will remain awesome, just not good for undead depending on if it's a zombie or a skely.
