Noob Wiz question

Well just trying this game out, and it already feels great after just playing totural, thou I wonder, doenst wizards get spells at lv1, couse I remember you choosed it at character creation, then where are they and how do I cast them or attain it?

you have to go into your spell tab on your character sheet, assign which spells you want memorized from your spell book, then hotbar them for easy use. you can memorize them either at a shrine or an inn, if you're doing the tutorial i'm not sure where you can initially do this

This is a good question, and may not be intuitive to someone not familar with the dnd rules.

So, as you said, you picked about 7 spells at character creation. In order to cast these spells, there are a few things you need to do. Steps 1-5 are specific to wizards, clerics, rangers, and paladins. Sorcs and Bards can start from step 6.

1.) Find a tavern, inn, rest shrine, etc. Something that will put you in the 'rested' state.

2.) Open your character sheet. The default key for this is 'C'.

3.) Go to the Spells tab.

4.) Click on the side tab for level 1 spells.

5.) Double click on the spells that you want to memorize. As you double click, you will see them added to the empty boxes at the bottom of your spell list.

6.) From that newly created list at the bottom, drag and drop your spells onto your hotbar.

7.) As long as you have spell points, you can now activate your spells from your hotbar.

After learning spells you must also prepare them for casting
Go to a tavern
Open your "Character Sheet" using the tool bar top left. (looks like a scroll / parchment)
Select the "Spell" tab
drag the spells you want to cast to the boxes along the bottom.
From there drag the spells to your hot bar.
Clicking on the spell in the hot bar will cast them in game.

Also note that you can drag & drop spells directly from the pages of your spellbook to your hotbars, and eliminate this step altogether. When you select a spell to be memorized, it will already be on a hotbar ready to use.

Also consider setting up some hotbars with sets of spells for certain types of adventures, such as a hotbar with dismissal and banishment on primary (1-2-3-4-5 etc) keys instead of having them in harder-to-reach hotbars.
