mucks were already nerfed for mod 9, maybe you missed to comment in the release notes. Since they are made of glass they can now be shattered if you use it on anythign besides a muck.

Muckbanes do turn oozes and slimes from fairly challenging monsters at low and early mid levels into minor annoyances. With a Muckbane, a CR 8 gray ooze is nothing even for a level 1 character, whereas a CR 3 Kobold Shaman can be a challenge if mishandled.

I know the OP was being sarcastic, but I'd like to see Muckbanes turned into just a M/W glass club which is immune to ooze acid and make Muckdooms what Muckbanes are now.

This might be all fine and good for you mhykke, but what about those of us who have built toons around the muckbane? Am I just supposed to re-roll my 'muckdoom eploiter' and start again? I dont think so..

Muckbanes give an unfair advantage to str based characters over dex based characters. Not only should muckbanes be nerfed, but we dex-players should get a SPECIAL item to make up for the imbalance and unfairness we have faced. ;)

An Unholy Muckbane...now that would be the new killer app...

Of course I think they could just make useless more useless and let players think of new ways to better themselves.
