View Full Version : Ranged Combat Nerfs in Mod 9

Ok, now I have a few toons that use bows on raid bosses and such and was thinking. Against Harry and Sauli the ranged combatants will still do what they have always done, but what about sorjek and the future draco liche and the abbot. What is the most that we can hope for, holy and greater undead bane damage? We have no bludgeoning arrows, so with the transmuting nerf is there no light at the end of the tunnel to bypass bludgeoning DR against these raid bosses?

Returning Throwing Hammer, which is a ranged weapon that deals bludgeoning damage.

Its not the answer you likely wanted, but it bypasses DR of those monsters.

By making ranged combat less viable the devs have done you (and your party) a favor. Go melee or go home! At least until the whole range thing is fixed for everyone.

Yeah....

Course on Sor Jek I just tend to hedge him in and deal with eles and Imp precise on for extra damage to sor jek...might be a 0+10+3 hit but its somethin, the main damage on him is (generally) from firewalls.
