starting a 28point monk build

im trying to build a halfling monk and would like a good starter layout. all idea's would be helpful.thanx

Well my first quest is just haw far are you from 32pt builds....

I ask becasue Monks have a BAD case fo M.A.D. (mutiple attribue dependency), and benifit hugly from 4 extra build points, IF your at all close I strongly recomend grindign out that last bit of favor first.

Ok that having been said as a hafling monk your 'Strengh' will BE Defense, and damage through fast attacks/sneak attack(Hafling Guile AP's), Hit lots and fast but for smaller bits, Note this menas you WILL need a set of transmuting, (min2 is best) kamas for DR mobs becasue other wise the higher DR guys will shut you down.

FOr a 28pt pure monk something like as follows:
STR: 10 --- Cost 4
DEX: 18 --- Cost 10
CON: 12 --- Cost 4
WIS: 14 --- Cost 6
INT: 12 --- Cost 4
CHA: 8 --- Cost 0

Level ups to DEX.

The whys... with 28 points it's hard as heck to aford more then 10 str and this way with an evental +3 tome you cna get PA
18 DEX get weapon finess this is your attack stance
Con 12 the best you can aford it;s gona hurt a bit and air stance is -2 as well BUT you will get great AC, and superb saves, and improved evation.
Wis your secondary AC stat you want more but at 28 points cant aford it.
INT 12 = A +1 tome to get Combat expertise.

NOTE a 32pt build can add 1 to wis, (even out class +3, +4 tome(mod9) +6 item to an even number. can add 2 to con for less squish factor, OR 1 to str fro +2 tome PA or 2 to STR for +1 tome PA. IT just makes life easyer.
