This is not limited to just 1 of my characters, mind you. Sometimes on my melee characters, mostly when I am fighting giant-type mobs, (ogres, trolls, and the like) the enemy randomly becomes stunned, even if I am not wielding any type of weighted weapon or using stunning blow. I have no idea why this is happening, but it happens on both of my main melee characters. I have to admit it has come in handy more than once but I would still like to know if I am taking advantage of a bug or if I am missing something.

This happens when they miss you several times in a row.

They periodically rage and haste, then become stunned as if from Kargon's Ham when it wears off. When I charm an army of Ogres, it means pausing every now and then to let the group gather back up or they will be strung out across the map from this. It only lasts a few seconds though.

Like Asp said you can trigger it too. When you see one get ready for the one-two-three move, back up real quick and wait a second. It will be stunned after it's move usually.
