DDO Headed to Console

You'll read it here first! Turbine has officially announced plans to bring Dungeons and Dragons Online to a console, and it's one none of us would have expected. Dungeons and DragonSNES: Stormreach will be a fully-featured, online version of our favorite PC MMO. That is totally absurd that they would spen money to push this into a console 3 generations old, with such a low graphics capability. It will not offer a pleasant online gaming experience by no means. Sure it was ok 15-18 years ago, but, come on now. Get with the times. You just wasted $40 million dollars on that POS idea. It would have been more fruitful and saved money by just advertising a bit and offering 3-6 months free gameplay to any interested.

I have to seriously consider giving up on turbine. I have tried to hang in there mod after mod, but, this is not the push the game needs. If nothing else, this is a step backwards. I have played 2 and a half years with a 2 month hiatas. I feel I have been pimp slapped and so shocked I can't respond with anything but leaving. Alas my subscription was just paid and will stick it out, but any more bad news will surely not be taken lightly.

If anyone believed that for even a second they really are not too, well, educated about the the way modern games function. There is no amount of money you could spend on research to make an MMO work on a SNES.

The neat thing about the whole post/article was the depth of information.
