Question on Availability of Potency Item

I am looking for a Greater Potency V item, club, dagger, whatever. Does it exist?

I readily find Greater Potency VI items (12th level), Superior Potency V (12th level), Superior Potency IV (10th level) but NO Greater Potency V.

Is it just so popular that no one auctions them? Or does this item at an ML 10 not exist.

I think it's the fact that Superior Potency V and up items are readily available that most of them are sent to the vendors and not auctioned.

I believe I've seen them on auction and have pulled my share to sell. It isn't that exciting a pull to be honest and the need is pretty slim for them.

Im pretty sure I have one, as well as a superior devotion V item right now. Go to the house D vendors and you can usually find anything there on a fairly regular basis (except sup pot VI).

Remember to check everything they can come on in the AH- sceptres, light and heavy maces, light hammer, warhammer are the most common.

Actually you can find sup. pot. VI too, they've lost a lot in value at this point so it's really hard to sell them on the AH.

Exactly (Sceptres are considered CLUBS) so look there. Also check the House D vendors, see them in there pretty often. I am guessing you are looking to get the Greater so you can use it sooner than you could a Superior of the same spell level, but why not just look for a Superior Devotion item instead.

You are looking for an item for clerics, right, and other than Searing Light, there are really no effective direct damage spells that it makes much of difference on until you hit the higher level spells like Blade Barrier or Cometfall, etc.

Superior Devotion IV would be the same level to use as Greater Potency IV.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll keep looking, but so help me these items are hiding. I have seen all the permutations out there including Sup Pot VI, but can not find the **** greater pot v.

I know that flame strike is not exciting, but it's my only real offensive spell at this point.

I have a greater VI waiting for me to be 12th and am using sup v devotion.

Well in my experience while a spell like Flame strike can be kinda nice and showy, many times you would be better off in a group casting something like Greater Command and just putting most of the mobs on their butts, waiting for a smackdown. Try it out and see, most melee mobs (the ones with tons of HP that just shrug off a flamestrike) tend to grovel readily.
