View Full Version : How do you split things

Such as arrows and bolts or ingredients?

Weird that I never bothered trying this until now, but I need to split ingredients to get my green steel blank made. I don't want to use all fourteen of my Lily Petals just to make one red taper for a rapier o whatever.

Oh, and I wasn't sure where to post this.

Is this our new newbie forum now? It seemed like a newbie question anyway.

Thanks

I knew it shows that rule # occasionally during startup for the game, but since I never did it before, I just didn't bother memorizing what it said on the screen. And then when I need to do it or want to I can't remember.

Thanks again!

Oh! So when it comes to the green steel blank creation, it'll only use the amount needed for the recipy and then leave the rest in my inventory? Is that the way it works?

I've never made a green steel blank before.

Thx

It will only use what it needs to make the one. This is also the case on all alters. Have a couple times accidently hit the mix button twice instead of the clear, and got two of what I wanted to make. So if you are short on ingredents and want to make sure you dont do the same, you may still want to split them.
