I believe I have enough small, med, and large ingrediants to make a new greensteel weapon, but I'm not sure what to make. Here is what I have now....
1. Mineral II khopesh with AC bonus
2. Mineral II khopesh
3. Earth II khopesh
4. Goggles (45 hps, stoneskin, etc...)
5. Tier II water khopesh
Here is what I'm debating on making.....
1. Lightning II khopesh-the chance of the 650 damage is nice
2.Lightning II longbow-would be fun , especially when I get the Ranger capstone
3.Earth II khopesh-can dual weld with my other earth II and increase chance of earthgrab
4.Water II khopesh- I already have tier II made, could go with the +2 exceptional str, which would increase damage on my other hand weapon.
Any feedback will be appreciated...

With the number of ingrediants I have, I could make the water II and earth II OR just the lightning II......

A single-shard (straight flavor, like pos-pos-pos) is going to cost you 12 of each size ingredient.
A dual shard (like pos-earth-earth/pos) is going to cost you 12 smalls, 12 mediums, and 24 larges.
If you've got just enough components to make a MinII or LightningII, then you probably don't have enough smalls and mediums to make two single-shards. Now, if you gained most of your ingredients by running the shroud verses trading or buying, then you will probably be short smalls, to be honest. Smalls drop at the lowest rate (only one chest in the entire raid). Mediums drop the fastest (3 chests, I think) and larges drop in the middle (two chests).
Also remember that two single-shards will require two of each Shard of Power where a dual shard only requires one small, one medium, and two large.
If you're looking to make two weapons and find yourself short smalls, it's very common to see Shroud Part 1 farming groups on the LFM. Jump in and re-run part 1 a dozen or so times and you should be good on smalls.

also remember that dual shard weapons (min2 and lit2 and rad2) are the best in the game for what they do, and the likelihood you ever regret having made one is far smaller than the likelihood that, in time, your water3 ends up unused because its only your best weapon against fire elementals.

If I do the 2 weapons, I will only need small and mediums for one weapon. I already have the water II built out to tier II (I made it way back when I didnt know what I was doing......). So that isn't an issue, but then like someone else said....would I use it enought to make it worth while. I was planning on waiting for Turbine provide a way to uncraft items so I could recoup the greensteel khophesh and the ingrediants.

good plan, except they've said they don't plan on adding such a way.

assuming you are str based. i'd go +++ or freezing ice. +++ for stuff like elemental (shroud), kobold, gnoll. freezing ice for trash mobs (high str = high crits)

I have a lightning 2 weapon and enjoy it. The lightning bolt effect results in a lot of damage, and it is, in fact, better than the mineral 2 on devils other than the pit fiend by a huge margin. It's better on the pit fiend only on normal.
The earth and water weapons would be good against trash mobs, but their final tier bonuses are useless against red names, so I would go with the lightning.

I'm assuming that you are saying lightning II bow is only better on normal because you are factoring his DR but if he uses silver arrows the lightning bow stays the best...
Unless there is some other secret reason that the lightning II would start losing as the difficulty goes up that I can't think of. Assuming he made the lightning II bow and not the khopesh.

I think i would go either earth 2 or water 2. Simply because in mod 9 you will be dealing with not just demons and devils but also celestials who are immune to lightning. This may or may not affect your decision but I think it would really suck to have that nice lightning strike weapon about as effective as harsh language against 1/4-1/2 the stuff youll be fighting.

Radiance Rapier or a Lightening Strike Khopesh.
The blinding from radiance and tharnes goggles combo seem like a good combo. Constant sneak attack dmg when attacking them while they are blinded.
Lightening Strike is good against many red/purple names.

You should have assumed I was talking about the khopesh, where my statement would then make sense. :) I refered only to his possible khopesh weapons that he was considering in his post.

The problem with radiance is that it will be inferior to pretty much everything against red names, and it's worth more than it costs to buy two w/p daggers or short swords, which will serve you better in most cases against regular targets and oranges.

If you're considering a Radiance II and are specced for IC: Slash, then you'll be happier with a Scimitar than with a Rapier. That way, it's blinding 25% of the mobs. Despite the previous post, and whereas the blinding effect does not work against Red/Purple names, the light damage does. This is not to say that its damage is comparable to Mineral or Lightning.
I'm not personally willing to take a stand regarding Mineral v Lightning. In my experience, the Lightning does at least as much damage, but the Mineral I made was created to be my fallback position for S&B tactics (thinking it would be better with Transmuting), so I took the A/C Bonus as my Third Tier, and it therefore may not do as much damage as others. Nevertheless, the Keen aspect to the Scimitar seems pointless, as I crit on a 15 roll, regardless (and would, without it). Furthermore, the Red/Purple names typically have Acid Resistance.
Smoke similarly was set up for an A/C Bonus on my A/C Build, so I haven't seen the damage there, either. The Lightning I have was full dps bonuses, so the comparisons may not be valid in my case.

Except that part one dropps at least one ingread every time, often 2 and some times 3, power shards are another matter but ingreds from part 1 not normaly an issue if you run the shroud a lot, meds are by far the most pletifull though, larges are iffy on the first chest I'm guessign about 60% drop rate, final chest is almost 100%, but some tiems you get horned/celled insted of any thing real, I know I've never really farmed part one other then when we were first learning shroud, and i have 100's of smalls mutie 100's of meds and liek 24 larges.... now partly thats form makign a lot fo Dules, but since he has also made a lot fo dules I cant se ehim not beign in a similar position with reguards to small/meds, unles she bought all the larges.
