Ok, Technical Assistance. I need some help here. My desktop is an older desktop (soon to upgrade), but while at home on spring break its better than using the laptop which has only a few hours of play possible before overheating. Anyways, I've tried to update my video drivers so I can play Left 4 Dead and FEAR 2 better on my system. Now, if this older system can run both of these games, then I wonder what is causing THIS:

with two of Nvidia's newer drivers:
182.06 nad 182.08
What exactly is happening here and is there anyway to fix it without downgrading my video drivers or having to pull out the laptop in order to play this game? This is the 2nd time I've had issues trying to play DDO with my GeForce 7600 GS after updating the drivers. The other games run fine, but DDO just screws up.
