Crafting Thoughts Needed - Tier3 Min2

Putting a Min2 cloak on my dwarven fighter for run 40.

For the third Earth tier, I need advice on which of three choices to take:


1. 1d8 Acid Guard (Pro: More damage. Con: Measly 1d8 acid).

2. +10 Acid Resistance (Pro: Don't ever have to worry about melf's or acid for BB. Would be good if we ever see another Black Dragon or future raid with massive acid damage. Con: Not currently that useful).

3. +2 Insight Fort Save (Pro: Saves are good. Con: Not worried about fort save on dwarf fighter).

I take it you already have a hp item?

If not, take hp obviously.

If yes:
If the fighter is a high ac build go with the resist.
Low ac, go with the guard and get some more guards for some nice passive damage.

Acid resist seems best to me as well. Though it's not too great either, so another option would be to take the 20 HPs anyway, just in case you want to swap out your HP item some day.
