Advice Please

My TWF Dwarf Rgr is lvl 9 and sort of at a crossroads. I need to choose to continue on as a str based or go with dex / finesse for more AC. Right now, with items, and +1 tomes, both are at 22 (base dex is one point higher than str, I think. Only wearing +3 dex gloves but +4 str ring). I realize I could bump str with lvl ups, and dex with enhancements but don't know if that would get my AC high enough (currently 33 unbuffed w/ chaos guards and +5 mith chain). Wis bonus isn't high enough to go monk (could wear an item all the time, I guess). What about fighter lvls? I know what multiclassing get get me essentially but am looking for opinions.

Basically what I want is decent AC and great DPS so I really don't wanna go the finnesse route(currently using Dw axes with off-hand handaxe - will build min II's eventually of course).

Any advice?

Stay strength. Finesse is for drow, and it's too late to make that choice.

Agreed. Go strength. This should have been decided before you even rolled. But at this point your not going to get either one up much more then the other, so going strength you will get a little more dps and be able to use more weapons. If you have the finnese feat trade it out for power attack.

Well I had decide before I rolled but I was sort of second-guessing at this point. Thanks for confirming what I wanted to do anyway (but never hurts to ask!). I've looked at some other build posts / questions and it actually seems like my stats are decent for what I want out of the build. I haven't had any issues so far with hitting and dps (lvl appropiate content mostly) so I expect it to only get better. AC hasn't been a prob either - I get hit sometimes but not a ton.

What about a lvl or 2 of fighter?
