Were Dwarven Throwers always RR Dwarf? I could have sworn I had one that was not RR at some point long ago.....

Mine are fairly old (pre-mod 6 at least) and they are rr dwarf. Was it ever changed? Dunno. They mighta changed em when they changed chillshards, but I don't remember.

I was going to post that I was sure that they weren't originally, but now I'm not sure. I do know for sure, though, that they did make a change to them. I had one on a character by means of a trade, but when they made a change to them it became bound (we had no warning, either).

Dwarven Throwers were always rr dorf.

The changes wasnt a change but, due to a game bug DDO made them bind for a time. The bug occured where you could sell 1 thrower, or chillshard, but buy it back at 99 at same price you sold the 1 for.

Since all items have a hexadecimal code, DDO made all the splits from the original bind. If you were unlucky enough to buy one form someone just before the fix was put in and it bound, you bought a split thrower (or chillshard).

Throwers are back to thier original setting as far as not binding and being rr dorf.
