Favor group?

I was wondering if anyone wants to do some favor I'm just a short 44 before I can begin the game. I'm looking to do Thernal around sometime 2 or 3pm est and I'll probably be up until late in the evening just so I can start the game before the xp weekend.

My current character is Liku lvl 13 cleric

What I'm missing as far as favor wise

Crucible on hard and Elite

Thernals (only two quest needed on elite and I think they're just the first quest on the line also)

The sliver flame tomb series (the ones that are lvl 11~) aside for unhallow.

You dont favor to begin the game its this kind of thinking thats bad for the game, I am on same server now and have already started the game, but good luck to you if thats how you want to play.

Glad to see that at least you realise the game starts at 400 favor or 1750 if you dont want drow or a handicapped player. I would help you but I am on different server. Good luck

nah it is true and denial is harmful thinking. Ever see someone spaz over how much better a +3 tome is than a +2? Well guess what a 32 point vs 28 point is like having an inate stack with other tomes +1 tome at creation for your 2nd and 3rd most important stats.

So yes you can say it's not that important but then tomes would not be the most sought after thing in the game like they are. In short bosting your 2nd and 3 most important stat by 1 is very important to players. Look at any tome or loot thread or join any raid. Why are 16s doing reaver # 60? Yep you guessed it trying to get an off stat up 1 more point.

to some yes but not to all I hardly ever run the reaver or shroud tired of them really and hate green steel bad for the game I think. I am mainly playing my 28pts and a couple of drow on my new server and loving it others would to if they let themselves and quit being obsesed about a few points. Only +3 tome I ever looted a let a mage have big deal only looted 2 +2 tomes ever and never have used them one a str the other wis maybe someday if the right situation comes up I might use them.

TOmes add to your base and stack with everything. there is no restriction to how high you can start your stats at 28pt vs. 32 pt. You just have a couple less points to start with. An 18 is an 18. The stat doesnt care if you got it there with 28 or 32 points.

and very few people care about their "Off stats" If ysomeone thinks going from an 8 to an 11 int on their sorc is going to ungimp him,their sadly mistaken.

It's just sad that the game has to start at 32pts. For me, I have 6 toons, twwo at cap, that are 28pt. builds.

Good Luck to the OP, but I agree with Uska on this one. To see yourself as useless at the beginning makes more work and not fun. Not my style, but to each their own, I guess.

Thanks for all your all help guys, I finally made it and now I can be on equal terms with everyone else.

Well I made a battle cleric, and I found my self less in the front and more in the back when people hp start dropping like a rock, as such I was fighting the urge to reroll and waste favor.

umm unless you deleted the 1750 character you can always create a 32 pointer...there is no "wasting"

Lets use your example of a sorc

8 STR vs 12 STR on a sorc what is the difference? Answer weather or not you need to waste a spot on a STR item just to be able to carry all your loot. Ever loot 3 full plates of trash on a 8 STR character?

14 con vs 16 con whats the difference? that would be 16 HP which on a sorc can easily make the difference on weather you can eat a fireball to the face!

8 DEX vs 12 DEX what is the diff? That would be +2 to reflex save

8 INT vs 12 INT what is the diff? 2 skill points per level Concentration, balance, umd, jump, there are several places a sorc could use some more skill points

I think she meant she considered rerolling the 28 pointer before she hit 1750 but didn't want to lose the favor.

Wasnt sure but I know she has hit it so can dump that character or not as she wishes now since there is nothing above 1750 right now and its pretty clear that a 32ptr is what she plans on playing and I have seen a couple people think you can only make one of course they dont ask or check before thinking this.

Hmm for once I admit I'm mistaken I'm probably won't delete the character as I'll keep it around to open and start future quests when no one can open a quest on elite, or to continue farming after I ransack a quest with my future characters. That is of course until I run out of room with new characters.

Uhhh didnt you begin the moment you installed and started playing?

To me the game began yesterday as that's when my characters start off on an equal footing and it's not as punishing to start a new character as it was before. Which means to me I can reroll as many characters as I want.

You'll at least want to keep her around for the extra vault space.
