Anyways, I love being in the Ancients, raids are quick and easy. They do not take 50 minutes explaining something to the noobs as well.

Maybe one day i will finish leveling my cleric for you guys.

Ancients:

Great fun playing with you all but I’ll be taking a break till mod 10 or so. Moved onto WoW and currently playing on Eonar server. If you guys ever get bored shoot me a tell there my toons names are Wargerth, Muirlatris, and Freekee. I also got a card for two people for some free playtime They got this promotional thing going on where you sign up a friend.
I’m having a lot of fun there are so many things to do. I just got my 1st toon to the new expansion area and so far it looks amazing. So many things to do the scale of the game is huge however I miss playing with The Ancients wish I can find another great guild like it. For now at least Brian(xxSoeloexx) is here. Bid you all farewell till we meet again, happy trails…

The new content and quests in WoW are very different then the old ones. A lot more fun the hunting and gathering days are over. You should give it a try, it's free for 10 day but I just don’t think 10 days of free play can represent an MMO of it's magnitude. I haven’t seen lag yet ;) which was another reason for leaving. I can’t pay for a game that is not playable and the non-stop nerfing is very annoying. The ac toon is what kept me as long as it did, but when it came time to grind the Shroud for it's shards I lost all motivation. Glad you’re still enjoying it although I don’t know how you made it to VoD with all that lag ;). My hope is DDO shuts down and you guys come over to WoW it would be great to have all you guys to play with again, good times.

Yeah good fun runs, but I'm burrned out lack of content and the "lag monster". If you get your haste rating up it will seem as DDO combat ;)

I have left The Ancients because i feel i must be free for a while. I do want to thank my guildies for a great time and for being what i consider the best guild out there.

Some people may think some ancients are elitists or exclusionary, but they just want to win. i will say this has truly been the ultimate guild experience with very little politics. These guys play together everyday.. raid everyday... together. Some guilds may have some better players in it(Most guilds have great players not in this guild), but this is the best team, and it is a team because it is together all the time.

I want to thank Draco(most of you dont know him because he never plays out of guild) for being the heart and soul of this guild and you continues to be that. You are truly one of the greatest players this game has seen, and perhaps the ultimate guildy and team guy that anyone could ask for.

I wont single anyone else out as it will just cause me to miss people that deserve mention.

Sometimes people just need new challenges. I hope to still join you on some of your runs.

Thank you for 1000+ raids we have run together.

We will be looking to grab a few more new members soon to fill out some spots in raids.

If i know you, you are good, or you want to give The ancients a try, shoot me a pm , and we can talk a bit to see whats up.

We are primarily a raiding guild, which runs epics as well, so we prefer a more seasoned recruit. Still a newer talented player,who is interested in learning is fine too, if the person is skilled and is willing to learn.

For me i think its the people i like, and not so much the grind. if it feels like work it isnt fun. yeah we killed shroud so much back in the day , it may never be fun again. Except maybe if we do the old speed shrouds.....think the newest record is 10 minutes, hmm that may be fun.

Ya, in December were getting 5 new end game raid expansion an old world re-do which is two continents, two new classes, a bunch of new dungeons regular and heroic, and a new profession. Wow sucks bad I tell ya you would'nt like it. I'll check in and see how the one new raid is and how the lag monster is doing. I bet the nextime I log on you'll be sporting a new half-orc sorc/barb/rog or maybe a half-orc monk/pali/wiz. ;)

Me quiting wow is like you quiting ddo. When I look and compare file size you can fit three ddos into wows folder and you know what she said. ;)
I do miss having the ancients around always a compitent group to run with. Maybe Two Worlds II, or Guildwars 2, perhaps Rift? I will be leaving wow for one of these ;). Unless DDO pulls a rabbit out of the hat with a major rework of end game content I wont be back I dont think, just here to harass you guys.
