Looking for other shurikens, mostly DR bypassing ones or a fairly large chunk of plat or other fun things :)

Current toon is a str based acrobat rogue, so some REALLY nice Q-staffs would be considered as well. Already have transmuting greater evil outsider bane, transmuting greater giant bane, so I'm not looking for either of those.

Lol are you waiting with antici.............. pation! I really don't want straight plat, just sold another wop rapier in a private deal so I just have too much. Looking for other fun toys like amazing q-staffs or a few dr bypassing shurikens.. etc.

outta curiosity what happens when you are at max plat and you try to sell a something to the tavern dude?

does it:

not allow it and give an error?
allow it but not give you all the coin since you cant go over max plat?

I don't know... I try to keep all the guys like 100k plat under total max, just for that reason. Gotta get my money for vendor trash.... good question though. I know I can't sell anything on the AH for a while, lol. Don't want to give too much away for free, lol. Do you actually have a monk Tack?? lol

gimme the vorp shuriken you jerk!:DMy understanding is that it will flip the bits and drop you back to 0 (+ the remainder over the cap). Only verified way I've heard of this was when detaching cash from an auction sale, but I see no reason it would be different here.

In prison we used stamps (FMC Lexington) and/or cans of mackerel (FPC Ashland). (I kid you not, all the nouns in that sentence have been double checked.)

1 stamp was 25 cents, yes you could go to the commissary and buy stamps but at that time a stamp cost 32, or 38 (or similar) cents, we all just considered a stamp to be worth 25 cents.

1 can of mackeral was a dollar, and cans sold for a dollar at the commissary.

Now in both of those cases, we were able to use stamps or cans of mackeral as currency, because they were obtainable at a set price and consumable. (people maild lotsa letters, and the weightlifters ate lotsa cans of mackeral (cheapest source of protein in the joint))

Best thing I can think of for you would be to buy large scales, but there is risk as we all know is mod 9 coming, and god knows what the designers have in mind then.

If only the game designers would take the blinders off... Why does a gem sell for 1/10ish (depending on haggle) of it's base value, if they made them a constant, problem would be solved. Why cant they just add a npc that buys and sells marks of boldrin at the fixed price of 100kpp each.

When I used to think the max plat was 5.2 mil I found myself selling items but then noticed the plat counter was not going any higher than about 4.2 mil....No error...the items just disappeared...must have burned a couple million gold before I slowed down to notice it, lol. And you don't get the coin in lower denominations, so just try to keep your plat below 4 mil and you'll be okay.
