I am trying to decide on whether to craft a GS Morningstar, Hvy Mace, or Sickel for my cleric.

Question 1: What is the damage that each one does?

Question 2: What are the swing speeds of each one?

Question 3: (the Million Dollar Question) Does anyone have a screen shot of these weapons?

I really just wana know which one looks kewl

The heavy mace looks like Phosphor (http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s220/jgould2005/DDO/Items/Weapons/Phosphor.jpg), which is frilly and good.
The morningstar looks like a big and solid intersection of two regular polyhedrons, a very simplistic appearance.
I don't know the sickle.

Swing speeds: All one-handed weaps are the same.
Damage: Maces beat sickles, but if you have high strength or a bard with you, a dagger beats both.

What you should make: Well, it's strange for someone to care about greensteel weapon damage if you're not proficient in martial weapons or khopesh. Why not learn to use one of those? (Remember that clerics can learn Longsword from the Sovereign Host enhancement)

Hey thanks man for the quick response...

You wouldn't happen to have an in-game screen shot of the GS Hvy Mace or Morningstar?

I was wanting to see what they look like on your character :)

Check here for the pics of some. I added my Heavy Mace and someone also posted the Sickle. Don't think the Morningstar made it in there but as AD said, it's pretty plain and I believe it's the same as the Masterwork skin that you can buy from the Harbour vendors.

The swing rate is the same as a regular item I would assume, don't see why they would change it just because it's a Greensteel. One thing to consider is that the Heavy Mace and Scikle require a Medium Horn whereas the Morning Star does not. I can give you the dmg die of the Mace later when I can log into check it if you really want. Morningstar is d10.

Nothing special damage wise for any of these so if you're planning on using it for a Battle Cleric you could make a much better choice going with something else.

Question 2: Noob
Question 3: NO

Just make a heavy pick or khopesh they look so cool, it may actually make your dwarf look tuff.

Welcome to the conversation Original.

Too bad everything has been cleared up, and yes, there are screenshots of those weapons as evidenced above. If only the forums were filled with more quality posters such as yourself.

What a utopia it would be!

Thanks I didn't know everything was cleared up. And thank you for letting me know I am a quality poster :)

Message from Mr. Obvious: From me Referring to his Dwarf Cleric without him posting that information, most people would conclude that I know Largemarge and more in likely run with him and maybe... wait for it.... in the same guild.

Sorry to cause Drama, but what the hell else am I suppose to do at work?

I wish I had known you were possibly looking at making a GS Morningstar, I just sold my "accident".

Next time you are looking, let some of us know. Much to my chagrin, drunken crafting has not been my friend :o
