Hey all! I have wanted to build an intim tank for awhile. I have laid out a build for you guys to critique and to give me some advice on what to change or not to change. I debated between WF and dwarf. I wanted the build to have UMD and max intimidate skill. This toon is not a "uber" dps build (I'll leave that to you twf dwarf rangers:)) I believe in being self sufficient, hence the UMD for wands, scrolls ect. Mentally factor in end game farming, I mean crafting!:) and raid gear. I decided to go with WF. He will have a little less hp's, but the immunities and docent switching is a nice factor. Down the road with a plus 3 dex tome and crafting a cha item, may switch out feats to take TWF and drop Bullhead and maybe SF:Intimi. So with that being said, be gentle o your dismantling of this toon!

PS- Ignore the TFW and oversize TWF feats those will be changed to Dodge and something else

What is your proposed AC, unless it you can get it to 60+ standing you might consider trying for high DR instead (at least thats what Fleshvik is doing :D). Also maybe take dex down a bit and add to chr instead and then maybe add that feat that allows you to use chr for will saves instead of wis. If you're real brave you could take str down to 14 and add that to chr too.

I would reccomend picking up the weapon focus and spec, lines, I know you're specced for intimitanking, but I still think it's important.

I do have force of personality at level 3. AC would be higher on a dwarf with Mith FP. I am not real good at AC break down, but I'm guessing @ mid 40's self buffed. Add bard AC song, full ranger barkskin ect for higher AC. Fully buffed @ 50. The TWF and OTWF feats would most likely be dropped for Weapon Specialization

What? You expected me to read EVERYTHING? :P Have you thought about a pally 3 splash for saves and fear immunity?

I did toy with the idea of a paly splash. But with crafting neg/neg/neg item, fear immunity can be achieved. Also want to be end game 18/2 so it will be Kensai build w/evasion.

KK, well for me a Kensai WF screams THF, but we will have to wait to see just how often the effects proc on glancing blows, but Kensai + WF Greater Weapon Aptitude might be pretty sweet.

My thoughts on this build are to have as high an AC as possible on a WF, intimidate things to me, great cleave them and then go into turtle mode and let the party pick them off one at a time.

Here's my rough draft, you need the weapon focus/specialization/greater specialization feats for Kensai as well as the critical accuracy and attack boost enhancements. Enhancements listed are rough as you will need 8 AP for Kensai 1 and 2.
