Hi everyone. I have been playing DDO since Beta and have a lot of lvl 16 characters but I was interested in starting a new group on Sarlona that always groups together and runs with a balanced set of characters. RP is optional. Mainly just want fun loving people that like to talk and joke and just have old fashioned pnp fun.
DAYS/TIME: Sundays or Mondays from 8AM and beyond pacific time.
OPTIONAL: Any day 5pm Pacific and beyond.
Now these days would be set and would need people that can make it most of the time.
We would only group with each other and level with each other. If something came up and someone missed a few sessions he/she could catch up in levels soloing or while grouping with another member only.
RULES:
1) No twinking. This is the biggest thing.
2) Anything found is kept in the group. If you can use it you always get to keep it but if you don't need something it always gets given to another group member first. If its something that no one needs then that person can sell it on AH if they choose.
3) May only purchase stuff from vendors and house vendors not from AH.
4) Good attitude. This is all about FUN. If you can't have fun then it won't work
This is open to ANYONE. New or old to the game, it really doesn't matter. I know all the game content and would be happy to teach any new player about the game. I am very patient =) If there is any interest I would bet there will be a few experienced players.
And plz we need HONESTY. Don't send yourself cash or tomes or items. yes you can do this without people knowing but would it really be fun? The whole point of this is to get a new feeling for the game again and to get with a group of people who can truly grow together. Playing the game together will make everyone better and make quests easier.
As far as what quests we do in what order I am not particularly choosy. We can do whatever quest we want. I would say we could take turns picking the quest. I am hoping people will be able to play several horus at a time so we should eb able to get several quests at a time in. if we are lvl 5 and we got lucky on gear we could easily run tangleroot which would give out some VERY nice gear at the end which in turn leads to better quests like Deleras which also gives out VERY nice rewards.
As far as the group goes I would only ask for a few things:
1) Main tank. AC based with hit points to match. No build that takes gear to make this work. Not trying for a power gamer build. An old fashioned Dwarven Fighter would be great but whatever would work
2) Main healer. Cleric of course would be needed but would have to FOCUS on being healer. Not interested in a battle cleric who wants to fight more then heal.
3) Rogue. Can go pure rogue or whatever mix ya choose the only concern is being able to get ANY trap without worrying about fail.
4) Caster. Wizard or Sorcerer is fine but again please FOCUS on one. No mix class that again relies on gear we may not get for ages.
5) DPS Melee. A mixture here is fine as long as your gonna be good DPS from beginning to end. Ranger or Barbarian is fine BUT think of the group. Are you gonna be a mana leech on the cleric and cause a lot of issues?
6) Open depending on other classes. Bard might be great here
Race doesn't matter as long as it works. A WF Fighter as main tank is great as long as we have a wizard for repairing. If the group wants to go ALL WF thats fine but unlikely to happen.
I personally would be happy to play a rogue mix class or wizard or tank or even healer
Any questions just PM me or look me up in game or ask in here =)
