looking for shortswords (banishing and smiting) would this be worth a couple of them??

Yes, its certainly worth a couple. I believe I have 1 of each, min lev 14, that I would happily trade for it. I need to wait until we can get back in the game to be sure I still have them though.

Absolutely ... if your not concerned with D4 vs. D6 open it up to daggers as well and I'd bet you could grab 4 of 'em.

I would say this is worth way more than 2 shortswords. The plat value on it right now is tough to estimate because of the pre-mod 9 jitters people have on this kind of stuff. But this is a very decent banisher because of the +3 AND pure good, and Id suggest you hold out for way more than a couple shortswords.

...but trying to collect a nice shortsword set. I also have a seeker 2 puncturing rapier (ml 8 i believe) and a +4 ice burst puncturing rapier (ml 14) no RR on any. would love to find the following short swords:

1 smiting
2 banishing
1 ghost touch disruption

already have a wop and puncturing. prefer no higher than 12 but 14 ok. RR elf/drow only ok.

also have a few banishing daggers (one ML12 the other ML14, one has shattermantle), a vicious smiting dagger (which isntt bad, it seems if you dont bypass DR you dont take vicious damage), and a +4 greater construct bane dagger, that i would trade for a few construct bane shortswords (bane or greater). thanks!

If 99 % of the people would rather use a rapier than a shortsword because the crit range is better total rit range of 30 % instead of 20 % why do you wanna downgrade your weapon ?

Youd rather crit 20 % of the time instead of 30 % ? whats the reasoning behind it im curious ? Smiting shorswords can be snagged daily for about 20-40 plat and you can even find some in house d quite often .

The rapiers go for around 5 million if not more you can equip about 5 characters with shortswords selling that one weapon , but why ?
