Well last night i was about to run some slayer after the downtime with a guildmate "sorry buddy" and my videocard exploded.. lol I kept getting "drive in infinite loop, hardware may be faulty, everything i tried, and the artifacting i now see, points to the card..
So 1) sorry to my chaos knight brethern who i bailed on lastnight due to this..
2) 4670.. anyone use this? i am SEVERELY limited with funds.. just had a baby and it's hard to get my wife not to give me a hard time about a cup of coffee.. it's either this or the hd3870 all over, which is 20 dollars more.

For that price range I'd go with a version of the 9600 but I've had trouble with ATI cards so I may be biased.

I've never not regretted buying an ATI. I'm 0/3 on ATI cards and 4/4 on nVidias. At some point, regular client crashing and Blue Screens outweigh any performance increases or cost savings. ATI's drivers are just bad. Not to mention, DDO doesn't work with quite a few of their cards at all.

I second that. Go with the 4830 even if you don't overclock it it way better than the 4670 or the 3870.
Note that the 3870 is better than the 4670 if you had to make a choice.
Good luck!
