I am debating on trading my Tower Shield Feat (Haven't used a tower shield) for either Eschew Materials or Empower Healing feats. Do you agree? Why or Why not?

Also, would Empower Healing feat work with Lay on hands?

Forget the Eschew materials. Worthless for a paladin. I would also look past the empower healing as well. I tried for a bit on my paladin dinking around and it wasn't worth it at all. If you want to swap out Tower Shield, I would suggest extend. If you get Leviks Defender then it would be time to swap it back out for TS.

Agreed...There are so many other better feats for a Paladin. What you specifically take depends on your build, but things to consider are toughness, extend, combat expertise, power attack, improved crit piercing and/or slashing, two weapon fighting, improved two weapon fighting and greater two weapon fighting, skill focus UMD, etc...

Does empower healing spell feat affect Paladins Lay on Hands?

I don't believe so, since its not really a spell. Your charisma will affect LOH. Improved recovery enhancements will also benifiet from LOH.

What feats do you have now?

Tower Shield does qualify as a prerequisite for the upcoming Defender of Siberys prestige enhancement.

a pally's main offensive capabilities involve many spells, ie DF, zeal, prayer. extend is a good feat to have

I actually just swapped out a toughness feat for extend and I am happy. 4 min zeal.
