The construction company doing work on the next lot knocked over a power pole which started a fire causing the sprinkler system in the next building to not go off resulting in the hamsters dying of a heart attack while moving to LOTRO servers and the back up rubberbands being left unwound. This confused the router in upstate NY into thinking that the internet had taken the day off and thus resulted in the server management team for DDO getting drunk and tripping over the power cords.

This must be something effecting all of turbine. I tried logging into LOTRO since I couldnt play DDO and the same thing is happening there, none of the servers are available. Finally a night off and looks like I just missed logging in by about 5 mins before the login servers died hehe.

I finallly got back in after 20 mins of trying and a lot of failures. Screen stuck on validating and loading just after typing the password in and selecting a server. Someone really needs to take this issue seriously.

As most people do who aren't playing MMOs, but I'd imagine that they'd have someone on night-duty, since if the servers had gone down at this time every time they dropped over the past couple weeks, they'd likely go unfixed for hours otherwise, and then Turbine would lose many customers. Still, that makes the desire for a response/update from Turbine a bigger issue.
