Nice rapier. Maybe 3.5 mil gold, possibly 4 mil gold. its finessable and a rapier so it is more valuable than other weapons.

I bought a scimitar for 1 mil gold, which I probably lost it in the mail by leaving it there to long :confused:.

Your rapier is one of the nicest and most desired weapon types, so it would be worth more than any other ghost touch of disruption weapon. Might be able to get a few large scales for it also.

Not bad but I dont think its really worth any more then any other finesable ghost touch distruptor as the disruption goes off on a hit not a crit unlike smitting so you should get a bit for it but I wouldnt pay any more for it then I would a sickle or even a dagger.

An upcoming benefit: With Kensai coming out, the value on this will be helped because those who have Kensai and spec rapiers will want to maximize their kensai bonus, and will thus convert to all the same weapons type, even if the crit piece isnt that important to a disruptor.

The downside: Ghost touch is becoming less and less valuable as it becomes a component of other gear. Hunter of the Dead will have it permanently, and more and more people can swap in Ethereal Bracers and Spectral Gloves as needed.

So...distrupting rapiers looking up...ghost touch kicker not quite as awesome.

I'd say the prices mentioned here are about right. And to make that point...I'll give ya 200k plat for it, but won't give ya 400k :D

disruption happens on a hit not a crit so rapier no better then any other weapon of disrutpion with ghost touch.

depends also on the character using it, elves/drow might find it more useful with enhancements for rapiers. (+ to hit)

well just pulled another Ghost Touch Disruptor but its a shortbow and id be willing to sell that if there are any offers for it

You'd be lucky to get 200kpp for it (or any GT / Disr). The value has fallen greatly and disruption is likely to be totally useless for next mod content...the save just won't cut it and greater disruption is in game. I seem to pull a lot of GT/D stuff and none of it sells over 200kpp (but will +/- around 150kpp, depending on the item).

It's got it's place as a juicy twink weapon (Necro stuff), but it's usage is short lived at ml 12.

Worth a scale? No way.

if i remember correctly gr8r disruption has a 3% chance to go off? if so then normal disruption is actually better cuz assuming you dont roll a 1 and miss the mob every hit will have a 5% chance of failing save n instantly being destroyed
