ddo lite - map fix problem

So I installed the ddo lite skin pack, and used both the patches provided... however my mini-map is still all-white. Not a huge issue, but it is very nice to be able to use a map.

I love the ddo lite skin, looks great, but how do I fix this map glitch? Thanks.

This is an easy one for you luckily! Expand the mini-map and drag it across the screen. The map should show up and you can then minimize it and it'll work till the next logout. A minor inconvenience for me considering how much I love ddolite!

ok, not so easy - issue is not fixed

When I move my map, it updates my map, but only for that second.
So my map is basically frozen in the last place I moved it
It doesn't show the direction I'm facing, where my party is moving to or anything

I like the look of ddo lite, but I like having a map better

is there a fix to this? because even the default skin's map is now bad

Try DDO black/red (the map is reddish but still transparent). Also, I'm not 100% that's the actual name, but it's close.

I'm having the exact same issues. I've had to start/re-start my client several times after deleting the skin files, and my map is still messed up sometimes. Did you ever get this fixed?

To save people having to shlep to a thread that says little, here's the summary:

switch back to the regular DDO UI every time before you switch toons or log out.

Not worth the trouble to use a new UI huh.
