I had one of those headsets, and after trying it, for about a hour to get the Mic to play my vioce loud enough without having the mic touching my lips. I gave up and went to get a Logictec USB headset, a very good headset that can be found at Walmart for 29 dollars.
Oh, and by the way. Im glad to see you like your new computer. Welcome to 2009. Windows 2000 was good for its time, I even had it on my computer and it was very stable.

Glad to hear, those cyber Acoustics are trash, it was by far the worst I had, so far.

For anyone else reading this I can only concur regarding the Logitech USB. They work flawlessly for me and for my 4 other friends that eventually bought them.
