I am a little confused by the description of the cloak, I see it gives curses, but also curses the wearer, or protects the wearer?

I have had one for a couple months now and my paladin has never personally been cursed by it. But it does go off quite a bit on bad guys. So, I don't know if the curse on your guy is a will save or something and that is why I have never been cursed, but like I said it is rare to get cursed

Yeah maybe on a pali, but I tell you, I only had mine on for an hour on my barbarian :D
