GS item for Ftr

Going to craft another item for my Ftr and I want it to be about DEFENSE.

So what's the Ftrs biggest weakness? Will saves.

I'm thinking Existential Stalemate (+6 Wis for +3 Will save) is a must.

I always wear +5 Resist Cloak so Tier 1 will be +10HP (positive or negative) cos I can't think of anything particularly useful here.

Tier 3 will be +2 Will saves (no brainer).

So my question -

At Tier 2 should I go with a further +1 Will saves or Immunity to Fear?

I'd go immunity to fear with proof against poison, both can be handy.

Do you use either Intimidate or UMD? If so, I would consider go with some cha skills on the other tiers. I went negative tier 1 (disease, blind immune), pos tier II (cha skills) and will go pos (cha skills) when I get around to doing tier III, though I have also toyed with the idea of going full concordant opposition.

The +3 to will saves from the wisdom +6 is totally sufficient imo when you also take into account a +5 item and a +1 bonus from the soarwood crafting. (total of +9). Add in GH and its +13. (assuming you started at 10 wisdom and added in a +2 tome, you get to a 19 will save which is enough to make decent saves on things like command and flesh to stone.. 21 if you take will saves on tier III)

Immunitiy to fear isn't a huge deal if you can keep GH on yourself. In cases where GH can get dispelled, a helm of freewill will do nicely. I find those places are so far between that its fine to just swap from minos legens to the helm when required. But I suppose it would be a nice convinience to have immunity to fear in the subterrane and a few other places.

If you arent intimidating or umding, and being as how the +1 to will isn't that all critical (imo) I would probably go with the fear immunity just of the sake of convinience.
